Excellent staff, wonderful stay!
Pros:

I recently stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Southington (because I was going to a wedding ) and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located right off I-84. The room was spacious and well-equipped, making the stay feel very relaxing and homey.

The staff (especially Tim the general manager-who went above and beyond when I needed ice for my back ), was especially friendly and helpful throughout my visit, and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety of options each morning.

Overall, this was an excellent stay and would definitely return when visiting the area again.

Beautiful hotel, welcoming staff, and close to shopping and food.
Pros:

I liked how welcoming the staff was, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the sheets for the pull pith ed were already in the closet. The buffet was good, need more gluten free options though. Overall great.

Second stay
Pros:

Our second recent stay at a Homewood suites followed our first by two weeks though the location different and we were better prepared. The king suite was a carbon copy of our prior room, well maintained and satisfied our needs though we were disappointed that photos of the room showed a walk-in shower while our room had a shower/bath combination.

The was a light in the living room that was not working so a call was placed with the front desk and a staff member arrived within 5 minutes. We did note that the pool was unavailable throughout our stay due to maintenance though we never saw anyone performing any maintenance. Having remembered the issues during a prior stay at a different location, we brought food that did not require an oven and our own toilet paper. The breakfast was once again quite good with a variety of choices including make your own tacos and burritos.

Very comfortable, friendly and convenient place to stay, I truly felt at home.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, catered for a wide range of tastes. The staff was super friendly, especially Beckie and Melissa at the front desk. Maintenance was quick and helpful when called out. The facilities were great, I used the gym everyday and we also played basketball on the court. We also used the laundry room, which was very convenient and efficient.

Cons:

Very minor things
The elevator was out of operation for the whole time, which was a bit inconvenient
There was a slight odor in my room
