Room was clean and tidy

Cons:

Parking was difficult to find and the reception area was under staffed with queues every single time we went to the desk - check in, to park car and to check out. We had to wait nearly 30 minutes every time. The phone was not easy to get through to either when trying to find the car park because they were under staffed and it kept ringing out.

The customer service was not good and I would not recommend booking with this property. For context, this property sends you a pre-check in link. I conducted this pre check in and paid an amount of $150, thinking it was the balance to be paid for my stay. It was not clear that this was in fact an additional $150 security deposit that was to be taken from my account in addition to the accommodation cost - this was an added expense for the course of my stay in Melbourne, which I had not budgeted for. I am used to there being a hold on my account when booking accommodation, or the ability to deduct if there is damage, but in this case, the money actually left my account. I would not have booked this apartment had I known. When I raised this as an issue with the customer service team, I was gaslit into being told that it was in the fine print, that it was just a “pre-authorisation only” and that “the funds have not been taken from my account” (they were in fact taken from my account). To add insult to injury, and separate to being duped into paying a security deposit, I notified them of my late check in far in advance - I was told that I would be emailed instructions. I had not received these instructions prior to boarding my flight to Melbourne, causing me a lot of distress and not knowing whether I had somewhere to stay on my arrival. I notified the property and there was no apology or recognition of fault on their behalf. In light of the above, I cannot recommend this property.

Quiet and location.
Change rooms/Floor after called reception. Waas walked to the room before agreeing to take it.

Cons:

First Room was filthy, microwave had not been cleaned, dirty hand marks, dusty, aircon/heater had mold and ment to be a deluxe room but no air con/heating in the seperate queen bed.
2nd room had 2 single beds put together for the bed and it was so hard to sleep well.

Both have a tiny Balcony out having the aircon/heater outlet blowing hair on you the whole time. Rooms that have a Balcony with seating, not the same as photos. Was so dissapointed.
Parking cost vary, depending how busy they are! Scammers

Beyond expectation.
Pros:

This apartment was fantastic. It was well priced, fantastically located, easy to find and access, the staff were pleasant and helpful and it had everything by we needed. The beds were comfy, the balcony was pleasant, the kitchen was well set up and the TV was huge! There were two bathrooms as well which was unexpected. The pool and sauna were an added bonus the following morning and with Aldi at the entrance and Starbucks a block away we wanted for nothing. We will be coming back again and again now that we have found this place.

Cons:

Everyone whinges about something. I have nothing to whinge about.

Beautiful view from 33rd floor of the city. Clean and cosy with kitchen so we have options to cook. Love the swimming pool and sauna but the movie theatre room and the tennis court was very hard to book.

Cons:

No free parking and have to pay extra for parking.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Loved the location, Aldi & IGA right outside, close to so many restaurants and the tram network. Short walk into the city (good way to walk off the calories!)
Reception staff were wonderful, all my requests were met with a smile and nothing was a hassle.

Cons:

Blinds let in a lot of light in the mornings. Wish there was a clothes horse or something to dry towels on from the swimming pool. General cooking things shuold be provided like salt, pepper, cooking oil etc.
The door locks need to be upgraded to smarter solutions, sometimes we werent sure if they locked and spent time double and triple checking.
