No regard for 2 female travelers comfort & safety.
Pros:

Do not book at this location . I booked using my points for a trip for myself and my daughter, a girls only trip. When we arrived, there was a homeless camp outside the location. We did not feel safe staying there as we were traveling alone.
I called to address my concerns and decide we would stay somewhere two women would feel comfortable and safe.
I was told there would be a $27 charge for the cancellation, and I would probably lose my points. I was ok with this loss.
The next day I got a $150 charge. I called and got nothing but the run around from the location as well as from the corporate office. Each stating the other needed to address the charge and the loss of my points.
I attempted to express how two women did not feel safe in the area. The manager offered no help, he stated they had contacted Colorado Springs PD and the hotel could not do anything about the homeless camp outside their building. At one point I was told they changed owners when I contacted the corporate office they told me the do not have any info a change of owners. Needless to say I have NEVER had any issues with any IHG locations until this place. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Crooks and no regard for women’s safety!

For the pricetag, it wasn't bad. Would have been better if the beds were not as hard.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Although the area was a bit on the small part. When trying to go and get food it was a bit challenging; as there was a lot of people in there who were just wondering, rather than grabbing Breakfast and sitting down to eat.

Cons:

The beds were a bit hard and the room was a bit on the small size for a double queen room.
