Rent och fint men offside ...
Pros:

Jättefint hotell men väl offside och allt som utlovades stämde inte. Vi är nöjda men restaurangen var ett café och takterrassen ett förråd.

Pros:

The adress of the hotel was not correct its 500 meters out of town. Anyway so close so not a big problem really, friendly staff snd overall ok standard.

Roleg område, enkelt men adekvat overnatting.
Pros:

Enkelt, reint, levande musikk i helgene. Takterrasse med utsikt mot Mindelo sentrum og området rundt. Frukost inkludert, enkel - men absolutt greitt. Ca. 10-12 minutts gange til Mindelo sentrum, kartet på www.hotels.com viser ikkje korrekt adresse, ligg sørvest for havna. Veldig hyggelege tilsette, god service. Litt varierande språkkompetanse, ikkje alle snakkar engelsk.

Hotel am Stadtrand
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in akzeptabler Entfernung zum Stadtzentrum. Es ist zu Fuß oder mit dem Taxi bequem erreichbar. Nordseitig sieht es ganz gut aus mit schöner potemkinscher Fassade!
Die Ausstattung ist soweit in Ordnung und das Frühstück ist reichlich. Das Personal ist höflich und hilfsbereit.
Unser Zimmer war ok jedoch sollte das Bettzeug öfters kontrolliert werden, damit die leicht angegilbten Kissen nicht schon seit Wochen im Schrank liegen.
Der nahegelegene Strand ist eher ein Schiffshafen. Jedoch kann man is ca. 1km Entfernung auch zum Baden gehen.
Insgesamt ist festzustellen, dass das Hotel für nicht anspruchsverwöhnte Hotelgäste ausreichend ist.

Friendly and helpful
Pros:

The staff were helpful and flexible from the beginning, letting me into my room early on my arrival day and letting me keep it late before departure. Their resident taxi driver was on hand for transport.
It's a simple guest house with few luxury facilities, but the rooms are spacious and clean, showers and wi-fi work well, breakfast is basic but fresh.
