Wonderful Hotel and friendly staff
Pros:

Everything was perfect. The front desk moved us to a King size bed, the room is spacious and all the staff is very friendly . The breakfast and dinners were wonderful. They had a live band with great singers on Wednesday night in the bar. The landscape is really well kept and it is lovely to hear the water from the Koi pond while having dinner or breakfast.

Cons:

Everything was absolutely perfect, we will definitely stay here again

Pros:

I like the historic nature of the hotel, its location and its architecture. Generally I found staff very courteous.

Cons:

I was there for a week. Breakfast didn’t really change from day to day, so for tired of the buffet by day 3. The food itself was good but if you’re there for more than 3 days you may want to eat elsewhere.for a change.
I booked 8 day stay then told them when I arrived I’d like to change it to 7 days, which they said was ok. Then upon checkout manager said because it was made through booking they can’t change the reservation - which is not true as I have done this before as it would just need to considered with booking. I was disappointed with management on this issue tbh and not the person who checked me in as there was no attempt to course correct.

That incident upon leaving really overshadowed the otherwise okay experience I had there.
Lastly I would say this more of a business traveler hotel (which is fine) as such there are no amenities for kids and the pool was not clean each of the 6 days I went there - maybe because no one really uses it - at least when I was there - but surely they should make a better attempt to clean it.

Cons:

Someone complain lout making noise and we where call .My dad who is.82 years old was in the room with me No one came up stairs to check out the situation .We where not making any noise.no music or anything. Don't like that.

Really nice colonial style hotel I always use when I am in Kingston but check first for events!
Pros:

Whenever you book that hotel you have to ask whether they have an event. Stayed there on a Saturday evening and the outside bar had an event with loud music until 1am that made my floor vibrate and the windows shake.

Great stay
Pros:

Central location, beautiful property and grounds. The bed!!! Omg, best night sleep in a while, friendly staff. That cucumber welcome drink was the best! Overall good breakfast and room service

Cons:

Contacted the property twice via Booking to organise airport transfer. No reply at all. Sorted this with family.

Room service: I ordered the burger with no mushrooms. It had a couple small pieces on arrival. Luckily I’m not allergic, it’s just something I don’t enjoy eating.
