Pros:

Hotel is nice and clean but service is sub par. Takes too long to get any items and little things like extra towels or toilet paper were hard to get

Pros:

Clogged drains, toilets that don’t flush, phones don’t work.
This hotel needs a complete renovation .
The restaurant was subpar with minimal choices
Would not recommend this hotel

Poor service and not comfortable
Pros:

Rude front office staff with zero courtesy! Rooms very hot, AC not good. No windows!! No exhaust in wash room! Over all horrible. Not good for business travellers. I won't stay here again or recommend to anyone. May be good for wedding reception guests who don't need to stay but just need a room to change etc.

Though advertising premium channels, there were none except for some select english landguage news. The grounds to the hotel were very nice. The staff was attentive.

Pros:

It was amazing , the staff was cooperative in providing the facilities . In the absence of the concerned personal the front desk manager hurried with for boat services .
It was a memorable experience

This is a 2 Star Hotel with US standards
Pros:

Bed sheets and towels are very old and stained. There is no tissue in the room. While hotel staff are nice but not many speaks English. Which is unusual for India. It is a 2 star hotel with US standards.

The room did not look clean.
The room was very hot amd it took a long time to cool off.
The bathroom was not clean and there was no hot water. I had to take cold shower.
The hotel staff was OK.
Yhe restaurent was OK.
The restaurent staff was Ok.
The food was OK.
Overall, the the room was not worth the money.

Nice property but hotel itself needs fixing up
Pros:

Stayed 3 nights. Rooms need updating. Mixed results with staff: some very friendly while others not so pleasant. Great property for strolling down to waterfront.

Not the worst, but very far from the best
Pros:

Overall the hotel is Ok for the price. The staff was friendly, even though the bus boys/ serving helpers clothes were dirty sometimes. The room had antique furniture, was spacious and seemed cleaned upon arrival. However, the first day housekeeping did not clean the bathroom, they just made the bed and replaced the towels. This was corrected for the duration of the stay after I mentioned it to the front desk. The hotel breakfast was complimentary ( traditional Indian breakfast) but offered limited choices. The restaurant/buffet prices were overpriced, very overpriced.

The hotel sits right on the edge of the town, which for a foreigner is a little bit inconvenient. My friends whom I visited stay at Hotel Aida, which is in the town, cheaper, newly renovated and is in closer walking distance to the shops. Windsor Castle does sit on an extraordinary piece of property. If the hotel was renovated and there was a place to sit and enjoy the view of the review, this place would be marvelous!

If you are looking at Windsor Castle, you should be looking at Hotel Aida.

A conveniently located hotel for our quick visits
Pros:

The hotel appears like a castle from the highway , a few kilometres away from Kottayam towards Thiruvalla.The staff identified us and our check in was very smooth and we were escorted to the room along with our baggage.We covered Muvattupuzha,Pala,Kanjirappally,Kottayam,Thiruvalla,Chenhannur ,Omallur and Eraviperoor, visiting our relatives while enjoying rain and the lush green of the interior of Kerala. We could also visit a famaous pilgrimage centre at Mannar called Parumala Church. The hotel served as accommodation for our visits.Before leaving, we took a round of the exterior of the hotel to enjoy the garden and the panoramic view of the lake and the scenery.
