Hotel Esse Davao

Stayed 3 nights in this newer boutique hotel on the smaller scale, which I usually prefer for the personalized experience, however, this hotel was somewhat lacking in this department. The staff was pleasant in a reserved kind of way. The room was very clean but the air-conditioning was inadequate even at the lowest setting. One corner of the hallway next to my room was piled deep with rollaway beds, presumably from the lack of storage space. The hot water in the shower would cut out intermittently so one second it's nice and hot then it would suddenly turn ice cold which was quite unpleasant. Did not get the chance to try the wifi or the restaurant.

My only complaint is the consistency with the staff on free breakfast. I had some telling me I could only have certain dishes while others said I could have what ever. Other then that, great hotel.

立地が悪い。タクシードライバーはほぼ知らない。ピープルズパークまで歩いて10分。近くにコンビニ等なし。窓はあるがビルのへこみにある室外機置き場への入り口って言い方か正しいかな。採光の為の物ではない。サイドテーブルに埃がまぁまぁたまってる。金庫無し。3階までの小さなホテル。俺が泊まった3階には俺しか泊まってなかったがコネクティングルームに泊まらされる。Gはいないが小さな蟻がまぁまぁいる。飲み物を鏡の前のスペースに置いておいたら知らぬまに占拠されてて、2度ほどそれに気づかずに口に含んだ瞬間、ペットボトルの外側にわさわさ居たのを確認して即座に吐き出す！というのを2度ほどやった笑　飲み物はきちんと冷蔵庫にね！
Wi-Fiは普通かな。掃除は言ったら直ぐに対応してくれた。まぁ他に客がほとんどいないからね。朝食は簡素な物が付いてきます。結論まぁ次はないかな。余談だが、ピープルズパーク近くのカジノ付きのホテルも部屋内見せてもらったがキッタネー窓してたなw　宿選びは慎重にね！

The hotel is ok . Its reasonably clean and being renovated at the time of our stay. The price we paid for the room was to much. There are better hotels for the same price. Rooms are small but OK. Staff are helpful and friendly. Location was not close to anything useful.

This is just ok hotel. I was at the GO hotels lanang and that hotel was better and cheaper than Hotel Esse. I was going to extend my stay at Go but they were booked and this is why I ended up in Esse. The only bad experience had here was my longaniza (pork sausage filipino style) was raw inside on my last day.

Pros. Location close to eateries. Free breakfast. Wifi in room very fast.

Cons: no safety box. No refrigerator. Hot water hard to control.

Would i stay here again, probably not.

Was cleanest hotel.i stayed at newer facility friendly and helpful . Better then mandaya hotel

I spent my first staying in Davao without feeling any stress.

I'm not familiar with there.
But I didn't have any trouble.

When I asked hotel crew what your favorite restaurant is around here, they printed out the map near there and told me.

And I could go to "People's Park" within 20min from there by walk.
But that place isn't noisy but quiet.

If I visited to Davao city, I would try to reserve this hotel again.

Hotel Esse is located at the center of Davao city. You can find a lot of good restaurants nearby. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can feel their sincerity in making sure that you have a comfortable stay at their hotel. Price is reasonable with free breakfast.

Out of the Room service for breakfast is nice that I had to leave a tip. Ha3.
Staff is very accommodating and fast
Building is under construction(?); needs a lift ( elevator).
Wifi is slow ( just like the rest) but useful. Have patience.
Bathroom Sink doesn't drain well/ fast enough.

Overall, I would recommend the hotel to others( i know the hotel is continuously improving).

Hotel doesn't have an elevator so it's not preferable to check in with senior citizens in this hotel. Their Resto/Café was under renovation. WiFi connection was bad.

The Hotel management should have put out a notice about their hotel being under renovation and their hotel don't have an elevator for senior citizen guest.
