The great service

Been to the Ritz many times. I am reviewing the sunset veranda which is wonderful.
Except for the food. Which was terrible. At best, a 3/10. If you order anything hot,
The kitchen is on the low ever level,so expect cold. They recently changed the menu, and not
for the better. The “smash burger” and fries served without mustard, salt, pepper or ketchup.
But it did come with mayo. The quesadillas, not very good at all and sour cream is extra $.
So, great view, good drinks, reasonable service, poor selection of food, terrible quality and
Ritz’s prices.

We are currently staying at the Marriott but decided to visit Noori Sushi Bar at the Ritz Carlton and we were not disappointed at all
The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived Although the food took a bit longer than usual it was absolutely worth the wait
The ambience is phenomenal very elegant, relaxing and perfect for a special night out
A special shoutout to a lovely lady with red hair who was opening the door and welcoming everyone with such warmth and attentiveness I didn’t catch her name but she truly made us feel welcome and set the tone for the entire experience
Also kudos to the bartenders the drinks were excellent and perfectly crafted
Overall a beautiful dining experience I will definitely be back

The hotel itself is beautiful. The sunset grill and bar was average at best for the high price it charges for fine dining. The wedge salad was horrible. Brown lettuce, tasteless buttermilk dressing, no onions. Fatty grisly pork belly. 3 dime size scallops that weren't cooked properly. $30.00 way overpriced . I will say the salmon entre was good. Waiter was horrible never asked how the food was or did we need anything. Didn't know about drinks or food when asked. Only tried pushing drinks on you when you still had a half full drink. When asked for the bill he walked by and basically through the bill on the table. Not worth $250

We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz, traveling as a couple with our 23- and 24-year-old daughters. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We spent most of our time by the pool and especially loved the morning chocolate smoothies. We also enjoyed a yoga class, ordered room service, and dined on sushi and at BLT—every experience was excellent. The hotel was exactly what we expected, and perhaps even more so. It’s quiet, elegant, and incredibly relaxing. By the end of our five-night stay, my husband was getting a bit restless, and I suspect that if we had boys, they might have been bored. The atmosphere is very posh but subdued—no music at the pool and no true outdoor bar scene to linger at. That said, if you’re looking for a peaceful, refined escape, this hotel delivers beautifully.

We were greeted by a very friendly bartender by the pool who has a drink truck at the Ritz. He made wonderful cocktails and mocktails in a fresh pineapple for me and a coconut for my husband! It was the highlight of our afternoon. We will definitely be back!

Germain at the bus bar at the Ritz Carlton was so energetic and kind. We also love the drinks he made. He got very creative. Great cocktails that felt elevated. Awesome mixologist.

i highly recommend you stop by when he’s working!

José by the Pool makes incredible drinks out of the vintage Volkswagen car!
They're beautiful, not too sweet. He creates them with a lot of love and passion. Highly recommend paying him a visit if you're staying at the ritz!

Dining at The bar lounge in the main lobby was outstanding. the smash burgers especially and the service was a 5 out of 5 starting from parking the car at front, walking through front doors .I had the pleasure of meeting The manager Jovier such a nice person and very courteous and pleasant towards staff and us as patrons It was a pleasure to experience that at The ritz Aruba keep up the good work

We had a waiter named Ruby that was the most horrible waitress ever. She was so rude. I'll never return again. The Ritz can and should do better. Wow. She is the whole reason I won't return to this Ritz.

The hotel is amazing but the concern for guest safety is seriously lacking. My wife is on a girls only trip and staying in a first floor room with patio. She checked in on Thursday evening and on Friday reported that the patio sliding door is not locking. Friday night the door was still not locking. I instructed her to place the two chairs in the way of the door sliding open to provide a small level of security. She left a note in the room on Saturday morning about the door being broken and still no response from the staff to ensure her safety. How hard is it to even just get a broom handle and cut it to length to drop in the track and prevent the door from being opened. I will post the room number once her stay is completed to ensure future guest safety. I encourage everyone to fully check your room to make sure you ensure your own safety!

Visited this property in September, not long after the opening. We were graciously granted an upgrade by the GM to a suite. The property is still fairly new and still has a few kinks to iron out surrounding service, hospitality and a few other things. The beach area is very small and not the cleanest.

Overall a pleasant stay.

I’ve never written a review for TripAdvisor before, but I had such a wonderful and memorable experience with my family at this property, I had to share. We were here only 2 days and wish we could stay more.
It started with a very friendly and efficient service with Ray at the front desk. He noticed we were a family of four and without our requesting, he looked into getting a room with two beds, even though we initially reserved a room with 1 king bed and sofabed due to limited availability. He was even able to move us to a room with full ocean view instead of partial, and the view was spectacular!
On the beach, Stefan (PM shift) and John (AM shift) took very good care of us by setting up our beach chairs and umbrella in the perfect location. But on the Ritz beach, any location is perfect. The lounge chairs are all cushioned and comfy. It was also easy to get a free paddle board and floating ring in the water.
The fitness center has huge variety of equipment and weights. I’ve been to a lot of hotel gyms anroubd the world, and this one offered the most out of any so far! I was happily excited to see a battle rope!
Finally, our best experience was in the club lounge. Sergio took great care of us by attending to all our questions and requests. I don’t think the word No is in his vocabulary. The staff is attentive to your every need, and Rose remembered all our names, especially our kids. Agnes and Rico also took great care of us. There were such wide variety of food and desserts offered from 7 AM until 10 PM that we rarely ventured out and were able to spend more quality time on the beautiful beach and grounds which were kept sp pristine. Sand was always swept away from walkways and lobbies coming in from the beach.
Splurge for the extra luxury, anttention and service at this remarkable hotel!

Absolutely exceptional service and hospitality from everyone with special shout out to beach service (Ely and Eduardo)! The team was extraordinarily prompt, professional, and kind. We have stayed at numerous 5 star resorts around the world and this has been of the best experiences overall. We stayed just prior to Xmas with a large extended family and dined in all the restaurants on property. All were fantastic / delicious / accommodating. Recommend this property highly!

Great, clean, chill resort for whole family! We stopped at Bus Stop with Jose! Drinks were delicious! Highly recommend!
Everyone was kind and lived up to the Ritz Carlton name! Good size rooms. We even requested a fridge which was great for us and kids. Room service dining was quick and helpful. Beach service was good as well!
Beach is rocky going in water so beware. But calm and shallow. Very cold ocean water in December but hot sun helped.
