Good size room
Staff didn’t know much about the local tourist spots and the gym didn’t have AC
The design was very retro and interesting. Onsite laundry was a very useful addition. Its a 10 minute walk from old town, but through an unkempt area which I wouldn't walk through at night. There are 2 restaurants in the same building non of which provide breakfast.
The rooms are very small, I had the superior queen size which would be small for 2 people and luggage. The floorboards are creaky in the corridors, so noisy when people arrive or leave their rooms. The hotel is situated in an industrial looking area not in centre.
You tried to make the place feel romantic, but the room is too small for us to really enjoy that atmosphere. This room size is more suitable for business travelers or working professionals. However, without a table and chair, it's not practical for them to work in the room. The lighting is also too dim, making the room feel dark and less functional.
Polite staff, good location. The restaurant attached was really nice and did good sushi, the gym was great and the little reading nook next to it was a great touch. About a £1 taxi to the centre and about a £2 taxi to all of the main attractions which was crazy!! Highly recommend this stay

One of the hotel’s greatest strengths is its convenient location. It’s close to many of Ipoh’s famous eateries, cafés, and attractions.
Another feature we really appreciated was the availability of parking for the hotel guests.

The room was comfortable and the overall stay was okay. However, there are a few issues that need improvement.
The toilet sliding door was quite difficult to open and close as it did not slide smoothly. The shower water pressure was also very weak, causing only a small amount of water to come out, which made showering take longer than usual.
In addition, the towel provided was in poor condition. It looked worn out, and the bottom stitching was completely torn, which was unpleasant and did not meet the standard expected from a hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel several times before, so I hope the management will take action to improve the shower facilities, repair the sliding door, and replace old towels. With these improvements, the guest experience would be much better.
I like the freshness , cleanliness and the interesting decor. Room was spacious with contemporary amenities.
