Could not beat this stay!
Pros:

Loved everything about this place..checking in they made me feel welcome and got my bags up to the waiting room..I had dinner a couple times there..the best Thai soup I have ever had..room was nice as a Hilton Diamond they upgraded me..the breakfast was excellent getting coffee slow until I asked the supervisor from assistance. I gave him a tip, thanking him the rest of the vacation. He had an eye on me to make sure got my coffee greeted me with a smile every time the Belman, the same when you return to the hotel the place is absolutely outstanding.

Impossible to get a tax invoice and now need to involve lawyers because of it :/
Pros:

Look - it's a very nice hotel, but I spent the last 2 weeks chasing a tax invoice which they are refusing to give.

Cons:

Impossible to get a tax invoice - they are saying they won't give one because I booked through booking. Booking are saying (and written on their website) that the property should give an invoice. Now I actually need to involve a lawyer, when it's obvious that it's illegal to not give an invoice. This really sucks because the hotel itself is really nice.

Service as you would expect from a Waldorf
Pros:

We stayed in the hotel for a week and had a wonderful time
We were celebrating our dads pending 100th birthday and the staff were wonderful and surprised him with a cake and champagne
In addition his accessible room was lovely

The best hotel in Jerusalem
Pros:

I went for a 5 day business/visiting trip. Staying in the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is such a delight. This front-desk staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Amir and and Alexei and many others whose names I don't remember went out of their way to make sure my stay was wonderful. In fact, they offered to have me move down from the 8th floor to the first floor for Saturday (because I don't use the elevator on my Shabbat) The breakfast staff is awesome- as is the head of the breakfast ( a very nice man whose name escapes me). The room on the 8th floor was newly renovated and gorgeous- the room on the first floor was perfect for my Shabbat stay. Cozy and perfect. I cannot wait to come back to Jerusalem and the WA is a cherry on the top in being in the most wonderful city in the world.
