Very nice hotel close to main road but off enough for a quiet stay. Very helpful staff and lady manager willing and able to fulfill any tour and transportation requests.

A very basic experience
Pros:

The pictures didnt properly show the condition of the hotel. I also didnt think the hotel staff seemed very friendly. The room was clean but just extremely basic which wasnt clear to me from the booking.

Friendly place but location not ideal
Pros:

Service is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But the facility is a little dated. Aircon was noisy. It's not as close to the city centre as most would like. It's well hidden From the main street. You need to depend on Tuk Tuk to go anywhere.

Pros:

This hotel a bit far from CR town...need to take tuk tuk or teksi or rent motorbike. Room is big and clean, but the bed got bug...feel itch at night...have something bite at night.
Service is good and friendly.
Overall is value for money has paid.

We were just here overnight but it is always a good experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory. The room was comfortable. Why not stay here. Tourist attractions are not too difficult to reach and enjoy.

My Stay at De Hug Hotel
Pros:

I could not find sufficient information on the web so I booked De Hub for 2 nights because the location was described as being in the he centre of the business district, my plan was to move to another hotel for the rest of my stay in Chiang Rai if De Hug did not work out.

As it turned out, the location of the hotel was anything but being in the centre of business district. It was located more than 2km away from town centre and I had either walk for about 30 min one way or take a Tuk Tuk which cost 80bht . Breakfast was basic, with either noodle and or porridge, with the basic toast and jam.

The room was big and clean, but the bathroom is quite basic, with no dedicated shower area. One disappointment I had was the tour that was arranged for me, I booked a group tour for 1000bht that was supposed to take us to Mae Sai and Golden Triangle in a van. However, instead of a van, the tour company showed up in a Toyota sedan to ferry 4 of us for quite long distance drives, I was given the option of getting a refund, but it had already dedicated that day for the tour and decided to go with the car instead....but was quite a squeeze

I ended up switching to Miang Inn hotel, which was in hitherto centre of town...which where the bus station and night market is located,
