Easy transport links to the super tram and lovely room. So spacious and clean! Is a lot nicer than the photos.
Staff were engaging and very helpful. Room - and hotel generally - was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fresh and excellent, well presented. Bar was very good, with excellent working hub facilities.
The evening meal offering was limited. Given the Hampton brand of Hilton competes with Premier Inn (which is no criticism), the lack of a proper restaurant on site was signficant. Menu is limited to pizza, curries, toasted sandwiches. Prices for the menu were not bad but the bar prices were astronimical. Over £9 for a pint of pale ale and a bag of crisps is extortionate.
Clean rooms, they came to check if we needed cleaning, sent messages to ask if all was good.

It was probably a one off but the carpet next to the bathroom wall was a bit wet, probably from some leakage. Should have been discovered in the pre- check in cleaning.

We had effluent rise up out of the shower plug. This was dealt with, but it was late at night, and took quite some time to fix. Also some customers ordering late night food were prioritised over us.
