Too noisy
Pros:

The breakfast was ok. Nothing special. The location good - but much too noisy.

Cons:

We got a room near the elevator and turning towards a noisy road with a lot of traffic. Night and day. We had booked the room in March so we expected something absolutely better. After a long conversation the lady at the reception gave us another room. But still a room towards the same street. We were warned that there is no air-condition. There is a ventilator. But you must have an open window during the night. Very difficult with the heavy traffic.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Altmünchen by Blattl. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions or requests.

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transport. The rooms were quiet, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, juices, and different types of tea. There were also hot options such as sausages, eggs, and bacon, all of which were delicious. The variety and quality of the breakfast made for a great start to each day.

Overall, I had a very positive experience and would gladly stay here again. I highly recommend Hotel Altmünchen by Blattl to anyone visiting the area.

Cons:

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. Even with the windows open, the room was still too warm and stuffy. It became quite uncomfortable at night, and for a few nights we didn't sleep very well because of the heat. The hotel kindly provided a fan, which helped a little, but it wasn't enough to keep the room cool.

Would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Great location. We came in early in the morning, planning on storing our luggage at the hotel, but they actually had our room ready and we were able to check in. Located just a short walk from the subway station, the Asam Church, and shops.

Not a great option in hot weather!
Pros:

Excellent location, staff were helpful.

Cons:

We were there during a heatwave and the rooms were extremely hot, even with the window open and the electric fan on. Bedding is sparse - eg only one pillow - and the hotel and furnishings are looking a bit tired.

Additionally, the breakfast was quite poor and lacked variety. Considering all of this, the hotel feels overpriced for what it offers.

Great breakfast and great location to shopping and sights
Pros:

The hotel was 10-15 minute walk from the center of the Glockenspiel and beer gardens but only 5-10 minute walk for food and shopping. We have one family member in a wheelchair and they told us an alternative entrance so there were no stairs to the elevator. We had a tub in our room, but if you are confined to a wheelchair the rooms may be difficult for you. Breakfast staff were so accommodating and friendly and would make eggs they way you like them and were so helpful to our group.

Cons:

This is not specific to this hotel, but we were warm when we were trying to sleep since the hotel does not have A/C. They do provide fans in your room (thank you!) but just know that most smaller hotels do not have air conditioning.
