Heel fijn
Pros:

Een prima plek om Chitwan te verkennen. Het hotel heeft een heerlijk zwembad, een rustige locatie en schone, fijne kamers.
Het personeel is súper vriendelijk, met name gids Babu is fantastisch. ‘‘s avonds na het diner kwam hij ons halen omdat er een neushoorn vlakbij het dorp liep: samen met Babu hebben we een uur lang het beest kunnen zien, het was fantastisch. Ook tijdens de tours had hij enorm veel nuttige informatie over de dieren, de natuur en de Nepalese cultuur. Alleen al voor Babu zou je voor Parkland kiezen

Het is geen 5 sterren Hilton niveau, maar wie verwacht dat?

Visit Sauraha, it’s amazing
Pros:

Lovely pool and gardens. Special thanks to Goma and staff all friendly

Cons:

It was tired, bathroom needs updating, poor quality soap etc that wasn’t replaced. Poor quality of food on offer at breakfast and evening buffet is cheap but unappetising.

3 great nights visiting Chitwan
Pros:

Location was great and only a short walk to the riverfront.
Tours on offer and organisation of them was very clear.
And we had a great private tour

Cons:

nothing - we enjoyed the place very much - as with everywhere we stayed in Nepal a bit more of the amazing fruit that we see in all the markets at breakfast would have been nice

Good place with wonderful pool not far from center/river
Pros:

Very friendly staff, always tried to care/help.
BEST shower/bathroom we‘ve had.
Large, quite comfortable rooms.

Cons:

Just some minor things which I just want to mention because the place is not a ‚bargain‘. Maybe the things mentioned can help to improve service:
There was renovation ongoing - thus you don‘t feel on holiday that much.
Only 2 towels, even for ‚pool towels‘ you had to ask.
Breakfast was plenty but the dishes were almost cold because the covers of the food-Containers were always removed by the staff. Breakfast only until 9am.
The place really needs some renovation (which was ongoing while we were there).

Not the best hotel in an amazing place
Pros:

The hotel has a beautiful garden with a small swimming pool.

Cons:

The neighbourhood of the hotel is not the best. The main street is only 10 mins walk, but there are a lot of dogs everywhere in the streets. The room was very noisy and we had a lot of power outages. The breakfast and the lunch is very poor, only with some types of food. We tried once the lunch (680 NR) but it was also very poor.
