Pros:

Way too many children. The breakfast buffet was madness - like an elementary school cafeteria. We stayed overlooking the lagoon and it was noisy with screaming kids at 9pm.

Resort was very clean all restaurants we used were spotless and food was lovely. Staff were amazing greeting you by name, service was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only 2 very minor issues. The air conditioning in the room is very loud but works well, take ear plugs. Room service, cleaning, towels or replacements every time they knocked one of us were in the shower or getting dressed ready for the evening meal so had to keep declining. We were only there 2 nights so not really a problem. The resort is beautiful and our swim up room was amazing. Take beach shoes as the sand is sharp. I will return on my next visit to Dubai.

This property was above and far beyond anything I could have expected. The staff was amazing and so welcoming and accommodating. The resort has everything you could ever need. There really is no need to leave. The lagoon is open 24/7 which we loved. Room service is available 24/7. There is valet parking and the staff is always available to drive you to and from your room in the little golf cars. The food is amazing and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal with everything you could ever think of as an option. I really can’t say enough about this resort. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and we want to come back with our family. I can’t find one thing to complain about. Our time here was amazing!

The outside areas were lovely but the rooms were basic and bland. Underwhelming. Staff were great. A bit disappointing compared to other hotels we've stayed in on the palm.

It was way below the expectations.
Right from the start we were directed to different gate for checkin.. main lobby didn’t receive us. We had to wait almost 1 hour to get into the room. After we reached at standard Time 12noon.
Whenever we asked for water they always provided late and less than asked. After hanging clean my room for more than 4 hours as well they didn’t clean the room.

I won’t recommend this hotel neither will return. It was really like a deluxe hotel and service was very dreadful. Spa was very limited with such huge space for spa nothing much to offer.

When i have got to the hotel the room was not like in the pictures...
We asked for a different room but they they do not have room for all the stay ...
The big problem start later when i askd for my money back the hotel said to ask from the agency hotel.com that said that the hotel doesn't want to refund the money because it was not refundable...

I tried to speak lot's of time with hotel.com but the answers was sound like a bot is answering me.

I feel very bad with that experience

Pros:

The property would be top notch if it was new. We do find it a little bit tired, however still clean and service is great. Nice beach and pool. Good food at Mekong, not cheap but really good food. At the weekends we struggle to find seats at the pool and beach area it was very busy.

The spa in Anantara is wonderful with great service and environment. Staff are all very friendly, thanks to Ibraham the receptionist who offered a room for us as early as 7am! Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Our stay is so amazing with their help!!
