Pros:

Hotel Estera Y Mar is 25 min from airport. Christian did transfter from and to airport. Room that we got upgraded was nice and clean. Staff is very helpfull all around the resort. Specially guys on bar/restaurant by the beach. Thank you Carlos. We loved the food, all we had was really delicious. Our favorite drink was Mojito Cubano. We had such a good time. Nothing to complain. Thank you.

Lush, well-kept landscaping, fun labyrinths of paths decorated with whimsical statuary. Several well-kept swimming pools with fun fountains. Spacious rooms. Not overly modern but well maintained. The beach is beautiful but the nature of the surf prevents swimming in the ocean. Interesting nearby fishing boats in active use. Great breakfast, varied menu options.

Upon entry, the staff was very kind and accommodating given our limited Spanish skills. The check-in was seamless and the check-out the same. The room was clean and had everything we needed, as well as extra beverages and chocolates in the fridge. The view of the beach was great and was across the street in short walking distance. The hotel at night is breathtaking, great lighting and rainforest aesthetic and the pools were also clean and well-maintained. The restaurant across the street offered free breakfast with the stay and had room service as well. I would definitely recommend coming and would stay again,

The hotel has a lot of natural beauty and amazing views to the beach from the rooms. They have exotic animals on site that you can enjoy looking at while walking around the property. Many amazing places to sit and enjoy the beauty of the property. They have multiple pools where you can relax and enjoy your stay. The beach is right in front of the hotel so beach access is very easy to get to and makes it more enjoyable. They also provide a boat tour and it is enjoyable. The only thing that needs improvement is the food at the restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast is provided but could be much better. There are other close by where food is better and better price. If you want an amazing place with natural beauty this is definitely the place for you.

Pros:

The property feels very family-oriented and features about five refreshing pools surrounded by plenty of trees, giving it a tropical vibe. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. With the beach within walking distance and convenient showers and rinse stations to wash off sand and saltwater, the location is perfect for relaxation. I would definitely come back.

I didn’t get picked up from airport,I called the hotel 8 times and no one responded,I ended paying transportation again from airport taxi service,the hotel offered transportation back to the airport and told me that they don’t know wat happened.That was the only problem,other than that all is good ,the restaurant food was great.The ocean in this area was very strong and red flag but the pools were very nice and clean.

What a find. Just the most tranquil getaway for a few days. The grounds are amazing and the ocean view rooms are amazing, the view is panoramic. Quiet nights just the waves for company. Perfect. The Restaurant does some good fare but its a bit basic. There are two or three places nearby as an alternative.

I loved the ambiance and the atmosphere. So relaxing. Try the alcohol mixed drinks. The fried fish wasn’t fresh. A bit dry and the pool could have been cleaned more, other than that. I loved everything. I would also suggest going on the canoe ride.

Pros:

My family and I had a really good time at this hotel! The staff was super nicer and let us check in early with a free upgrade. The restaurant at the hotel has amazing food as well. We enjoyed going down to the beach for a bit and then hopped over to the pool.

There really isn’t anything to do in that area of ES so if you want a low key stay , this is the spot!
