Riverside Hanoi Hotel

Located on the outskirts of Hanoi away from the active restaurants and social life. A grab will cost you roughly 100 dong (30-45mins) to get into tourist areas.
The place is neat and well maintained. Sauna and Steam are not active.
Most guests are non English speaking, and staff appear to have little to no English.
Room was good size and comfortable bed.

Good property, I wish the steam room and sauna was working but it was undergoing maintenance. Staff was excellent.

If you are traveling alone, the price and service are just right.

I have been coming to this hotel some times before and was always very satisfied with the rooms and service, Unfortunately I have discovered this time hotel was noisy in the middle night. Even if your room is not close, you will feel the vibrations and hear the music until very late at night.

가격대비 훌륭했습니다. 아쉬웠던 건 헬스클럽이 생각보다 좁고 시설관리가 잘 되고 있지 못했네요

호텔 컨디션은 좋았습니다. 옆방에 한국인 단체손님이 새벽에 체크인을 했는데 너무너무너무너무 시끄러워서 잠을 잘 수 가 없었습니다. 체크인 방금 하셨으니 한시간동안 기다렸다가 정중하게 말씀을 드렸는데도 음주에 고성방가.. 아무리 해외여행에 기분이 좋으셨어도 너무 민폐가 아닌지.. 저희층에 외국분들도 투숙하셨는데 너무 창피했습니다. 제발 예의좀 지켜주세요.
호텔에서는 다행히 무료로 방을 옮겨주셨습니다.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was just average nothing special. Bathroom shower leaked Not the best location. Had to take a taxi to old town. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have no other choose.

Malgré la réservation et le paiement d'une chambre catégorie "deluxe", une chambre catégorie " supérieure" (donc de catégorie inférieure à la deluxe) nous a été attribuée et le personnel n'a rien voulu savoir. J'ai donc payé pour 16 nuits une somme bien supérieure à celle que j'aurais dû payer.
Il faut aussi savoir que l'hôtel reçoit tous les jours un ou plusieurs cars de touristes coréens qui débarquent tous en même temps dans la salle de restaurant pour le petit déjeuner et qu'à plusieurs reprises nous avons dû retourner dans notre chambre, faute de table disponible. De plus, le buffet n'est pas réapprovisionné au fur et à mesure, donc, même si nous avons pu trouver une table, il est arrivé fréquemment que les plats soient totalement vides et cela pendant une heure...Le personnel du restaurant est d'ailleurs désagréable et je pense que même s'ils le voulaient, ils ne pourraient pas être pires.
Le personnel de la réception (ainsi que les grooms) ne parlent pas ou très peu anglais et il est donc difficile de se faire comprendre et donc de demander une aide quelconque. Il n'y a qu'une réceptionniste (mais évidemment pas toujours présente) qui parle correctement anglais et dont il faut guetter la présence si on a besoin de quelque chose.
L'hôtel est situé dans une zone très éloignée du centre ville, mais j'avais choisi ce quartier pour des raisons professionnelles et donc je savais ne pas être dans le quartier touristique.
La chambre est à peu près propre.

Good hotel for my business and traveling.

The location is not that great; there is nothing to see or do in the area, barring a small souvenir shop next door, and a small cafe that closes early on the other side of the hotel. Don't expect any spectacular views from this hotel either.

The room was fairly clean, although pretty bare boned. The Tv has a few channels in various languages. The free wifi is slow, and the signal was quite weak, despite having a separate router on each floor. You can also hear each time the shower or toilet is flushed by the room above you. The walls are so thin, you can even hear someone blowing their nose. My rain shower required repairing, as it sprayed water all over the ceiling from a loose connection. The bed was fairly comfortable, albeit a little on the firmer side.I noticed some staining on one of my bath towels as well.

Staff do speak English, although their understanding is fairly limited. I had an issue with some loud partying floormates, and the staff was unable to deal with my complaint.

Buffet spread at breakfast is pretty good. Egg station, small bowls of beef pho are served, along with vermicelli and jellyfish salads. Lots of fresh fruit (dragon fruit, banana, passionfruit and watermelon), and various fruit juices (mixed berry, strawberry guava are some of the standouts).

There is a gym, steamroom and sauna. However, it is located on the 12th floor, and the elevator only goes up to the 11th floor. You will have to walk up a flight of unlit stairs.

Toiletries included: shampoo, body wash. Amenities: toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, 2 pairs of disposable slippers. 2 free bottles of water included. There is a plug in water kettle in the room.

현지인들 중심의 호텔이기 때문에 외국인은 정말 먹을것이 없음.

The localization is not so good, and it doesn't have structure to receive a family. The Internet inside the rooms doesn't work. I think is good for business men because they only sleep and go. The breakfast is simple and it doesn't have many options. I think that could be better!!!

Clean and tidy hotel. Outside of the main centre, but close to the business district I was visiting, and given I had meetings in the morning and a long break before the afternoon meetings it was good to be able to go back to the hotel and shower. Breakfast was good, and lunch was passable. The price was very good for the standard of the hotel. Lots of busy restaurants and cafes nearby, but most if not all are packed with local people, with small stools and table, and you just ask for the good and beer!
