Quiet and beds were were good.
Person checked me in was scrolling on phone away from counter. Very few words. Didn't even mention about free breakfast. Then Shampoo bottle in shower was empty.
Clean and beautiful property
Location was good.
No soap in shower. Could hear the person walk above me. Alarm was going off next door. Had $20 in my wallet that didn't get applied on my checkout for some reason.
Clean
One elevator was not enough. Also, 6:30 in the morning completely out of coffee..
Very clean, very comfortable beds, and staff was very friendly and helpful! Close to all the shopping and dining!
Nothing
The breakfast was very good and within walking distance of a couple restaurants. The staff was very friendly and courteous.
The one thing I missed was a fan/vent in the bathroom. All hotels should be equipped with these.
My husband and I was passing through there. And checked in to the hotel. Both of us tired from the road. We had a great night's sleep. The next morning we woke up to an excellent breakfast. And met a smiling face in the lobby, an employee by the name of Tina. She was very friendly and had a great attitude. She started our day off great for us. Nothing like friendly service. God bless Tina, and the Hampton inn in kimball t
Near shopping and restaurants, right by interstate
No complaints
It was clean and nice
The people above us stopped around a lot.
Nicest Hampton I have ever stayed at. Very clean. Breakfast was simple but well done. Great coffee- dark and light roasts. Linda the night desk clerk was so friendly and helpful.
I just want to preface this by saying "Recently Renovated" is a term used very loosely at this property.
I booked this room because it said it was "recently renovated" and right off the freeway. I travel extensively for work and spent over 80 nights at Hilton properties last year. So when I see recently renovated, I'm thinking the place has been "recently renovated."
My son and I had been driving for 14 hours and wanted a clean and convenient room to relax in and get some rest for a few hours before driving 8 more hours home.
We arrived around 11pm. As usual... I used the digital check-in and no electronic key was provided (this has gotten continuously worse in the past year). The gentleman working the front desk was polite, professional, and gave us hard keys to use. That being said.... The lady sitting in the dark corner late at night, behind and too the left of the front desk was kind of creepy.
Nothing about this place says it has been renovated. NOTHING. Our room was very dated. Beds and pillows were just kind of thrown on the bed in the right place but that's about as far as it goes. The room was clean but as I mentioned.... Very dated.
The shower was kind of clean but found a couple long dark hairs stuck to the shower wall. They were very noticeable as soon as you pull back the curtain. Its hard to believe housekeeping didn't see them. Whoever installed the shower had to have been someone who's NEVER used caulk before. I'm pretty sure Helen Keller could have done a cleaner and neater job.
I had to go down and get a couple things from my vehicle after checking in. As soon as the door opened to go outside I was immediately punched in the face with cigarette smoke from 3 guys smoking, literally, 3 feet from the entrance. You could smell it in the lobby.
No need to set an alarm... The walls and floors are paper thin and remind me of my first apartment. My roommates and I could hear every single word and footstep from the floor above and on either side of us. I was woken by a man at the far end of the hallway telling another guy about where his father and grandfather were from. I tried to go back to sleep but the person above us got up and I could hear every single footstep back and forth in the room. This was at 5:45am. Remember... We checked in at 11pm.
The breakfast area was clean and surprisingly well-stocked. That being said.. There was no trash can around the coffee station and no one was around to ask for one to be put next to it. You have to take your trash to the other end of the room. That didn't make much sense to me. The large tables in the middle of the dining area were clean but only a couple of the flip up outlets would flip up and were just dirty. Not exactly what you want to see when eating breakfast. All this makes me wonder where else they cut corners.
All in all.... We had a place to lay our heads and get some a little rest but, it was ,by no means, worth the points I used for the room. I've used half the points to stay at exponentially nicer Hampton properties. I'm still trying to figure out what actually had been renovated. I'm pretty sure I'll never have to make a choice of where to stay in the area again... but if I did I'd be selecting a different Hilton property. This one is just not up to par in my opinion.
This place was way too expensive for how disgusting it is. The breakfast was terrible and my coffee pot in my room was so dirty that I couldn’t even use it.
I came with my husband who is working out of town and I decided to travel with him this time and was iffy about staying in a hotel but as soon as we arrived we where met by the nicest young lady up front at check in with that being said everyone has been so friendly and helpful but we got to our room and the room had a very cozy feeling and even smelled like home a cozy warm and inviting room that eased my mind and made me feel a sense of home . The breakfast in the morning was hot and yummy something for everyone and for a tea lover like myself they offer different teas one of my faves lemon lift after a yummy breakfast and nice cup of tea I enjoyed a workout in their new fitness center from yoga mats to weights to treadmills .. This is a must stay if you are passing through or if your travel for work or simply a nice cozy quiet night away .Thank You to the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Kimball Tennessee for a great stay ..
