The location of the hotel is amazing. One of the best ones ever. Cooked dishes were amazing and the staff is very friendly (except for the people at the front desk).
They should advertise that the rooms are open, the photos and description are misleading and do not show this. Rooms are not sealed within windows and roof, and you will unavoidably have a serious insect and lizard situation within the room. The first night we found lizard poop falling from the roof directly on our bed, since it had many of them living there, they offered a mosquito net, which helped navigate the situation (tiny spiders, ants, etc climbing on the bed), however, it was not a comfortable sleeping situation and it affected our rest significantly. Had we been aware of this, we probably would have stayed elsewhere, cleaning was just okay, when they installed the net, sand was left all over the night stands and bed frame, which no one cleaned until our last night there.
While we are aware that the location would involve insects to an extent (you are after all in a natural environment), we have done many eco lodgings that with the proper sealment of rooms diminishes the issue. We were told to close the blinds and leave the AC on, which frankly we did not see how this was helping the environment, and either way, the room never stayed cool because the windows, door and roof are not sealed, it was a contradicting situation.
While the rooms are pretty and modern enough, we were just not comfortable inside of it. it is sad to see this amazing location with so much potential be overshadowed by the lack of comfort in mind, considering also you are paying a lot of money for it.

Nature infused, tranquil, beautiful.
Would only recommend to nature-loving friends! The room feels very open to the elements.
If you want luxury but with an earthy feel, this is the place.
Food is brilliant but a bit more choice would be great. Also nice to see a menu at dinner - even if it is a set one.
Would recommend for a short stay not a long one.
