We were hit with an additional charge which we didn’t think was justifiable.
This is a gem of a property located at the margins of the Cairngorms. A sensitively renovated hunting lodge, providing comfortable accommodation and an excellent breakfast, it is ideally located for a visit to the Scottish Highlands, particularly the Cairngorms and the Rothiemurchus estate.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place.

Nach kurzer Empfehlung (tolle Beratung!) hatten wir ein sensationelles Zimmerupgrade und waren damit sehr zufrieden! Die Lage war sehr angenehm und ruhig, Zimmer und Bett waren sehr gut, Badezimmer und Armaturen waren hervorragend! Wasserdruck war super, Parken 1a und kostenlos. Das Frühstück war in toller Atmosphäre und liebevoll angerichtet. Es gab frische Beeren und viel selbstgemachtes. Die Gastgeber waren überdurchschnittlich nett, zuvorkommend und angenehm.

We had a fantastic experience. It was a very cozy, family-run hotel where they truly did everything they could to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay.
We had a triple room with an en suite. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and spacious. The lodge is down a driveway and away from the main road. Beautiful outlook from the breakfast table.

Wauw, gewoon wauw. Wat een geweldige plek. Mooie grote kamers, prachtig uitzicht, warm welkom geheten door de gastheer en een bar vol fantastische whisky’s. We voelden ons enorm welkom door de gastheer én gastvrouw. Het ontbijt was top: alles vers bereid, vers fruit en vol liefde en aandacht gemaakt. We zijn in veel hotels geweest, maar dit was echt uitzonderlijk goed.

The room was well appointed. There was good quality bed linen and the bed was comfortable.
The mirror in the bathroom was too high, I couldn't see myself.
