I’ve stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the last few years and, historically, my experience has always been good.
Unfortunately, this time the room provided to my wife was quite dirty and also very noisy. I’m hoping this was just a one-off, perhaps due to some work taking place at the hotel or the room not having been cleaned to the usual standard.
Overall, I’ve had good experiences here in the past, but unfortunately this particular stay was disappointing and below the standard we’ve come to expect.
Location
I was assigned a room that had a leak around the bathroom area close to the entrance door. I was told it was a leak from the air conditioning, but the water was falling like it was coming from a shower. It seemed to me like it was grey water. I reported this to the front desk, and they acted quickly in addressing the issue in the room, but they did not offer to move me to a different room. To my surprise, they also refused to clarify what the issue was at the end of our conversation. I have stayed at Holiday Inn locations in the United States and never encountered such a terrible experience as I did in the Delhi Aerocity area. Each time my daughters and I entered upon an exit, we had to go through security body swipes and private room screens each time while they let some guest go through without this process. Seems like there is some unfair guest preferences. When we inquired about this, they informed us that the checks were to ensure the safety of their guests by screening their own guests who are staying there. I would not choose to return to this place. Additionally, I would not recommend it to others. They did offer to extend my checkout time, provide free transportation to the airport, and include breakfast for one day at no cost. However, instead, I requested a fair resolution so that I wouldn’t have to pay the premium rate for a room that led to a negative experience for us. They insisted on the complimentary offers, which I was willing to pay regardless, as I am aware of how they manage these situations for financial reasons.

Loud noises at 11:30PM and 12:30 AM. I had just been travelling for more than 30hours and had to be up very early for another flight! Also, I have 0 reward points, I had been coming to this location since 2014! And I had thousands of points that I had never used.
Remote on the tv did not work
