No outside swimming pool, no activity such like the ad shows, far away from the center of city, and also the AC dose not work during my stay

The property is huge but looked aged at certain areas. Only 2 restaurants which did not have great menus. Gym was spacious but staffs failed to keep equipment cleaned. It is a resort style hotel with nice lake views and gardens for walking. I stayed over a weekend when the hotel was filled with local family patrons ... hotel did not have sufficient staffs to deal with the crowded chaos.

This is our fifth visit to the Hilton, which has outdoor pools and extensive lakefront gardens. We have been growing disappointed with the Hotel in the past two years as the pool area and grounds have become less maintained. However, it was great to see that some of the paths and one of the main outdoor pools are being renovated for the summer season.

- The Executive Lounge provides a good range of drinks and snacks from lunchtime, and the happy hour buffet dinner with wines and spirits is good.
- Staff are always attentive and helpful, which is appreciated.
- The hotel grounds are well-kept
- Plenty of activities for younger children
- It was a reasonably good breakfast, but...
- Many staff members speak English, which is appreciated.
The hotel was quiet. (Beware of Chinese National Holidays; the hotel is full and incredibly busy and noisy!)

Hotel was magnificent, but the rooms were really spread out and it takes a long while to walk to the assigned room. Breakfast buffet was also really expensive with little variety.

Very limited options of Western foods. There were so many people around,we had to queue up for dinner at the only one restaurant available as the other restaurant was only offering buffet. Breakfast time was chaos and unorganised. The waiters were kind of on our back waiting for us to finish our food so that he can clean away our plates. However,upon kind request the chef accepted to prepare some vegetarian fried rice for our family. Lunch options were limited to only 2 dishes on the menu. To sum up, it was not worth the price and very chaotic and unpleasant especially with a toddler.

Our third visit in 18 months and some areas of the hotel in urgent need of a revamp, repair, or maintenance
Bedrooms very good,beds very comfortable, book a lake view is best.
Breakfasts used to have a good range of western style food, but limited now. Outside areas in need of maintenance with tripping hazards, barbed wire, and a tired looking pool area.
In hotel food purchase overpriced.
Extensive gardens are great, but there is limited lake access due to big hotel bbq and coffee venue.
Lake side location and countryside feel only 15km from the centre is welcoming.
Staff are very friendly and helpful which is the best part of the hotel

After spending two months at this property, I think I am in the position to write a well informed review about the hotel.

Overall, it is a really nice hotel with all the amenities you would need. The hotel is really spacious, at times there were not many guests and it almost felt empty. The gym has all the equipment you would need, and is generally empty. I especially liked the Executive Lounge. Unlike some other hotels, they really change the menu every week, so you are not eating the same dishes every day/week. This is something I highly valued as I was staying for over two months. The food is also of good quality.

I was picked up at the airport by a driver from the hotel, who I communicated over WeChat with beforehand. At checkin, the staff made me feel a bit rushed, and I felt like the employee really wanted to be done with me as fast as he possibly could. But it was not busy at all. But it was no big deal for me, as I got checked in quickly without issues.

The rooms are clean, and the lady that cleaned my room on most days is the sweetest lady there is, always with a big smile on her face. She did a great job as well. Internet reliability in the rooms could be improved, although it seemed to get better after a few weeks.
I really liked the breakfast, there was plenty of choice, but for my taste there could be a few more European options as well. But since we are in Asia, I understand to not expect the highest standard here. I had yoghurt almost every day, with some fresh fruits. They not only had the cheap fruits available, but also blueberries and strawberries in the yoghurt, which I really liked.

I want to give a special thanks to Sharon Zhang from the Executive lounge, as well as the other employees from the lounge. Sharon really went above and beyond, and helped me a lot with settings up the Chinese apps or communication with Chinese native speakers on times I needed it the most. She really did the extra step.

Also I want to thanks the Sales manager Sharon, who I communicated with clearly and always responded to my messages immediately. Also it was nice of her to invite me and my colleagues to dinner, which we happily accepted.

Overall, I recommend staying here. There are only a few things that can be improved. The airconditioning seems to not go lower than around 22C, even if you set it lower. They checked, and the AC is working, but it seems the temperature setting is capped on a property scale so to say. Later in November, I opened the doors to the balcony so it was no issue, but in beginning of October it was a bit too hot for me at night. However, when I informed the hotel staff, duty manager Kity upgraded me to a suite for the first month (!) of my stay, which I really appreciated.
Like I mentioned, the reliability of the Wi-Fi could be improved.

Overall, I hope to come back to this nice property! The staff made my stay very wonderful.

Not worth the price. The amenites and rooms are kind of old. I stayed over the weekend and it was full of screaming kids. Breakfast dining was chaotic and lack of management. I don't recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway

Amazing hotel which is more like a resort. Almost too big and too good to be true. For the money, it’s a great deal. Nice gym, you can also go for a jog around the hotel without leaving the property. Cool, cool place and pretty conveniently located with super views of a beautiful garden

Great hotel - child enjoyed the pools and we all enjoyed the food!

I was a business guest in this great hotel for two months this fall. Due to the current global crisis caused by Covid19, I was very pleasantly surprised by the city. I was recommended the Hilton Optics valley by other colleagues and I was not disappointed. The hotel is located a little away from the major metropolitan areas of this huge city, but you have a lot of green and quiet.
It is about 45 minutes by cab to the Yellow Crane Tower and about 35 minutes to the high-tech companies in Optics Valley. (Huawei, Xiaomi, YMTC)
The hotel offers a large fitness center with pool and sauna and three different restaurants. For those who like traditional Chinese cuisine, there are several small restaurants or kitchens in the area (10min).
The hotel is huge and offers a lot of space, also the rooms are very spacious.
For me, however, the staff was the highlight.
All were very friendly and helpful and offer a service that is far above the usual standard of other hotels.
It starts with the cleaning staff, who sometimes put an extra drying rack to hang his sports stuff on the balcony.
It continues with the staff in the restaurants, which were always friendly and despite the masks always had a smile around the eyes. Dorothy.
Duke the Key-master also helped me buy a second cell phone. He got me an appointment with China mobile and helped me with the translation and later with setting up the health app. (Duke, you are great)
When the hotel realized that I needed a cab to get to my clients every day, they offered me a ride for the price of a regular cab. This meant that I could book the rides directly onto the hotel bill and was spared having to negotiate with the cab drivers.
The hotel was also a great help for the Covid19 test. They got me an appointment and also drove me to the test and helped me with the procedure.

Anytime again and keep up the good work. I have never had such a great service.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton over Christmas 2020. A group of us checked in on Christmas Day for 1 night and to enjoy the Christmas Day dinner buffet that evening.
Victoria was our point of contact at the hotel. She was amazing. She ensured everything ran smoothly from check in, to table reservations for Christmas dinner, to opening the Italian restaurant early for us to have dinner on Boxing Day before we left the hotel.
Nothing seemed to be too much hassle. We all had a superb stay and will be back again in the near future.
