The Doric was beautiful with warm and lovely staff and excellent accommodations. The room was spacious and charming. Our only complaint was the music at the pool.

luxury hotel with a view
Pros:

Beautiful setting, quite new hotel, heated pool, staff super-helpful, a lot of extra's in the room, very nice breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice, granita, possibility for freshly made eggs, etc. we took lunch on arrival in the restaurant: we had some high expectations, but were a little bit disappointed about the food. They overcharged us two items (25 euro too much). In an expensive five star hotel, we don't expect to be "voluntary" charged a percentage for the staff. This is in the restaurant and for the hotel. I think this doesn't suit a high class hotel. We gave something for the staff, but not the full amount they proposed.

Relaxing and beautiful escape. Wokk I’ll le stay longer next time to game better advantage of the property.
Pros:

Wonderful room and view, very attentive staff, beautiful property. Top notch.

Cons:

Food was excellent but restaurant a bit formal for our tastes. Other food options require a drive into town.

Our stay was beyond expectations especially the private pool and views of the temple
Pros:

The staff was extremely helpful and the views were magical. My husband and I were impressed with the vineyard and aesthetics of the resort.The private pool and view were our favorite.

This is a fantastic spot outside Agrigento - one night felt like a week to relax.
Pros:

Private pool in the suite was great, with a view down to the sea. The room was comfortable size with all needed for two, and the food was great. The host who welcomed us Fabbiana was lovely as were all the staff.

Cons:

we waited a little bit of a time for dinner one night in busy restaurant, but minor. Everything else was perfect.

From the staff who were so courteous and attentive to the overall experience of this hotel, it was one of the best stays
Pros:

The property was beautifully maintained. It was stunning! I love that the restaurant on sleep was exceptional. A swim-up bar in the pool was an added plus. I wish I would’ve booked more days at this property.
