It was very close to the concert we were going to, and some local food spots and bars, as well as the train station.
The shower wasn’t hot enough is the only “complaint”. It’s not cold but we definitely wanted it a little bit warmer
Good location
Cockroach infestation. Outdoor area was dirty. Not worth paying for a balcony or view.
Convenient location
Laundry facilities- some machines didn't work or stopped part way through a cycle with an error message.
Safe didn't work
Servicing of room was average. Fresh towels left on bed, old towels left in bathroom.
Parking cost is very high
In an emergency to drive from regional Victoria to Frankston where my husband was taken by ambulance, I apparently got the last room left at Quest on the bay to accommodate my 2 adult daughters and myself. Upon our return from hospital tired and upset, only one daughter had a very short, sharp only just luke warm shower and my other daughter and myself could not have one! The water was cold! I called reception straight away, but no maintenance there. Next morning the water was only just luke warm. At no stage was the cold tap turned on at all. My daughters had to share a bed which sank in the middle. My bed was ok. The floor was sticky so had to wear shoes. Only god knows what the stuff was on the blockout blinds. The windows are paper thin and could hear nightclub patrons yelling loud until 12.00am. The TV was not watchable. Constant pixelation - electrical interference?? The kettle and toaster had dirty finger marks all over them. Watch out for the chair sitting near the lift, has a huge blood/urine stain on the sunkin seat! 4 star... NO WAY. that nightmare room cost me $584.60 for one night. Had to boil the kettle to have a wash!. I was ripped blind. There are no words to describe the experience we had. Needless to say the rest of our stay was NOT at Quest. The Manager was made aware of the issues, as upon checkout the receptionist said we had a complaint, but obviously 5 days later fell on deaf ears. The full cost was debited from my credit card with surcharge. Never, ever, again Quest.
Location was great and front of house was friendly and efficient
Black mould in bathrooms, hair all over floor, dirty counter tops and kitchen very dissapointing when given the price.
Gave hotel a chance to rectify but couldn't facilitate a move of rooms.
Friendly staff. Great clean and large room. Handy location - could walk everywhere.
Kitchenette, great cleaning staff
I was given probably the worst room in the whole building, right behind the three lifts. From 4.30am these lifts would start and it sounded like a distant train or thunder going through the bedroom. I had to sleep with ear plugs and uncomfortable ear muffs on top to get some sleep. This was really annoying as I needed to be rested for the important training I was attending. I did complain after the first night and was then offered a different room, but this room should have never been allocated in the first place to anyone. I never sleep well the first night in a new location, so changing rooms and having another first night was no option for me. A refund was denied by the manager days later (I had contacted him straight away). Not happy at all. I know colleagues at mine were allocated great rooms and slept well.
An overnight stay was very enjoyable, very pleasant and helpful checkin and checkout staff, our room was spacious enough and clean, walking distance to food, shops, pub and beach.
