Pleasant stay nice staff but a few luxuries I like when staying at a motel missing

Pet friendly? FOR A PRICE We recently booked pet friendly accommodation at The Quest Frankston to attend a close friend
Pros:

This is clean & comfortable but was outrageously expensive due to the pet pricing surcharge - price gauging at its finest

Cons:

The unbelievable cost surcharge to bring a dog to ‘pet friendly’ accomodation. $350 additional fee for one night, an incremental charge of over 150% on top of the original room price! This was a standard charge and not connected in any way to the state of the room which we left very clean.

good for groups wanting to stay together
Pros:

Good location with underground car parking (extra cost), good quality Thai restaurant in building and laundry facilities and friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

windows don't appear to be double glazed. The full length windows make room very cold and let in a lot of noise including the seagull that lived on the balcony and squawked all night both night and the noise of the streets and from the sporting globe. Bed was also very uncomfortable, way too soft. Late checkout was only to 10:30 or at an additional cost.
