The breakfast and court yard was great. Its a nice property in that aspect.

Nice old house, half of block from the Central Park of Cotacachi, really nice queensize bed and really clean rooms, hot water and good wifi and the staff was friendly.

Located in the city center. Friendly staff. Very few hotels to choose from.

The hotel is in a beautiful colonial building in the heart of Cotacachi, steps away from the cathedral, central plaza, restaurants and the market. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent.

The staff was friendly, welcoming and kind. The room was clean; the bed was very comfortable and bed sheets and comforter were crisp and clean. The towel set up was perfect the first day, but then towels were not replaced as they were removed from the room each day, until only one towel remained. The breakfast was very good some mornings, with fresh eggs and warm rolls, and mediocre other days, with not-hot, not-soft eggs and hard, not yummy rolls. There was not fruit offered (I was there 8 days), only juice. The hotel location was good and in walking distance to parks, restaurants and activities.

I adored my spacious room and its decor as well as the adorable bathroom. The courtyard is very well maintained with a plethora of flowers, plants, and small trees. Above all the most amazing is the wonderful people who work there. All of whom were most helpful and genuinely kind, warm-hearted people. Blanca, Herman, Jair, and Maira made my stay a most enjoyable and unforgettable one.

The check-in was terrible. They didn’t accept a credit card. We had to pay in cash. The hotel is old. The location the worst. Drunk people outside at night, we had to call the police. Cotacachi is awesome but this hotel is the worst

Quiet, rustic, and friendly atmosphere. Centrally located in the heart of town.

Excellent location. Right in the middle of town. HOT water with great pressure. Very comfortable bed. Best Steak Ever at their restaurant.

thread bare towels with holes and bathmat, hardly any room service - trash never emptied, dust so thick you can write on tables, had to clean top of closet before setting anything down on it, really creaky floorboards, shower water wouldn't get hot for at least 8 minutes - yes, I timed it, curtains so thin that all outside light was clearly lit in the room, etc.

Charming & picturesque good wifi great location needs maintenance. more attention to detailed cleaning required. One unprofessional/ unfriendly chef/cleaner/receptionist male staff member. Female staff delightful friendly and helpful.

Really nice, close to restaurants, coffee shops and markets. We will likely return, and also recommend it to others.
