DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta - Diponegoro

My default hotel when in Jakarta. I stayed here almost every Summer holiday since 2018!
My kids love the lagoon pool and the extensive breakfast. They recently have upgraded the kids pool which makes my children so happy.
I personally love its location, so close to almost everything I need.
Every staff is so accommodating and friendly.
Despite being a 5* hotel, they’re quite flexible with an online take away like GoFood. That’s an extra hug for DoubleTree!

Pro tip: avoid staying in the weekend when you want to chill or a quieter crowd.
Watch a movie for under €5 at the Metropole next door and enjoy the local food in the food court.

The staffs are very helpful and the service are excellent, especially Feby from the executive lounge who helped with our booking situation

Parfait, piscine immense, chambre confortable et propre, superbe petit déjeuner, personnel extrêmement sympathique, salle de sport incroyable, tout y est, sauna, tout dans l’hôtel était parfait 😍

Heerlijke plek om aan te komen en te zijn in een drukke, grote stad. Heerlijk zwembad, geweldig ontbijt ( neem vooral uitgebreid de tijd daarvoor!), goede bedden en lieve staf.

Voor ons persoonlijk is Canggu niet de plaats waar wij weer terug zouden komen.
Maar de ligging van het hotel en de hotel faciliteiten hebben onze vakantie daarentegen erg aangenaam gemaakt! Ik was 1 dag niet helemaal top, er werd meteen speciaal voor mij eten gemaakt wat ik kon eten en het personeel bleef met zorg en aandacht hieraan besteden tot dat ik was opgeknapt! Het is een 3 sterren hotel omdat het meubilair en badkamer misschien voorzien zijn van wat oudere inrichting, maar daarentegen is het fris en schoon! Voor mij verdient dit hotel zeker een ster erbij! Echt alles was goed! Het restaurant echt met een top kok! Van ontbijt, lunch tot avondeten, alles was lekker! En het personeel verdient ook echt een ster want tenslotte brengen zij de liefde, sfeer en aandacht over! Voor iedereen die naar Canggu wilt gaan, dit hotel is echt een goede aanrader!

Hospitality is one of the most meaningful ways through which we experience a destination. Beyond the physical environment, it is often through people, conversations and gestures of care that a place begins to reveal its character. My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro became a reflection of this, particularly through the warmth of Indonesian hospitality that accompanied the experience from beginning to end.

Even before arrival, communication was thoughtful and well organised. Coordination was clear, responses were prompt and arrangements were handled with consideration despite the short timeframe surrounding my visit. Special mention to Meiske for her thoughtful assistance ahead of my arrival and for ensuring that the arrangements surrounding my late night arrival were handled with care. Throughout the stay, it was evident that the teams understood the importance of making every interaction feel natural, personable and sincere.

Indonesian hospitality carries a distinctive warmth. There is a graciousness in the way people engage, an attentiveness in conversation and an ability to make a guest feel acknowledged and welcomed. Throughout my stay, the team engaged with me warmly. Conversations felt genuine, responses were attentive and there was a consistent willingness to connect beyond the functional requirements of service.

The accommodation reflected a similar balance between comfort and character. The bedroom incorporated elements inspired by Indonesian design, while the wider living and working spaces created a comfortable environment for rest and preparation. Dining experiences were equally thoughtful, beginning with breakfast beside the pool and tropical surroundings before continuing into the Executive Lounge. Each space offered its own atmosphere while remaining connected to the wider character of the property.

Behind this experience was a considerable level of operational coordination. Front Office, Concierge, Security, Food and Beverage, Culinary, the Executive Lounge and the wider operational teams each contributed different elements to the stay. What impressed me was the way these different areas came together naturally. The complexity behind a hotel operation remained largely invisible, allowing the guest experience to feel comfortable and seamless.

To me, good hospitality is ultimately about engagement. It is the ability of a team to understand context, recognise the individual guest and respond with warmth, confidence and sincerity. It requires attentiveness, emotional intelligence and the ability to preserve the human connection that gives hospitality its meaning. During this visit, I experienced these qualities consistently.

Achieving this level of warmth and coordination requires capable teams and experienced leadership. I would therefore like to extend my appreciation to General Manager Mr Sebastian Goldmann and the wider team at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro. The professionalism, responsiveness and engagement demonstrated throughout my stay reflected a service culture that was evident across the property.

My time at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro may have been brief, yet it offered a meaningful reflection of Indonesian hospitality through the people who practise it every day. I am grateful for the conversations, warmth and care that shaped the experience, and I look forward to returning to DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro in the future.

Stayed at double tree and was very impressed with the hospitality provided by Concierge Helmi, Front office Feby
Housekeeping mirror wording Andry. We just had to get their names and drop it here for their disgustingly incredible hospitality. Food was beyond great, and their classic fried rice is a must order!

Ambience and atmosphere was terrific. Overall a 10/10. Will defo choose double tree diponegoro on any Jakarta’s visit.

De kamers zijn ruim, zeer schoon met heerlijke bedden.
Het ontbijt is zeer uitgbreid en van goede kwaliteit.
Het zwembad en de fitness zijn ook echt een meerwaarde.
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en er op gericht dat je niks te kort komt
