I recently had the pleasure of staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Diponegoro Jakarta, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by a friendly concierge who kindly assisted me with my luggage, setting the tone for the rest of my stay. The check-in process was efficient, smooth, and delivered with genuine warmth and professionalism.

My room was absolutely beautiful, featuring a stunning city view—an upgrade that I truly appreciated, thank you to the team for this thoughtful gesture. The Executive Lounge was excellent, with staff who were consistently very friendly, attentive, and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The restaurant had a vibrant and lively atmosphere, and the food was delicious with a great variety of options. I also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel facilities—the swimming pool was beautiful and relaxing, while the gym was well-equipped and perfect for maintaining my routine.

A special thank you as well for the personalized welcome letter and the delightful platter in the room—such an additional thoughtful touch that made my stay feel even more special.

Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional service and a memorable guest experience. I would absolutely recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Diponegoro Jakarta and look forward to returning in the future.

I chose the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jakarta - Diponegoro based on its consistent TripAdvisor reviews, and after staying there, I understand exactly why it ranks so well.

First, the location works. It’s central, convenient to move around Jakarta, and close to key areas, but the property itself feels insulated from the chaos outside. That’s not easy in a city like this. The pool area is the best example of that, it feels like a true oasis. Lush, quiet, and a place you actually want to spend time, not just a token hotel pool.

The physical product is solid across the board. Cleanliness is clearly a priority, and the overall condition of the hotel reflects good management. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and functional for both short and longer stays. Like others have mentioned, there can be some outside noise depending on your room location, but it was not a dealbreaker for me.

Where the hotel separates itself is execution.

Check-in with Sherlene was exactly how it should be, efficient, professional, and welcoming without unnecessary friction. That first interaction matters, and it was done right.

Enzel from Guest Relations is another standout. She’s clearly operating at a higher level, not just reacting to requests but anticipating and following through. That kind of presence usually reflects strong internal culture.

The Executive Lounge is one of the best-run parts of the hotel. Zifo, Sultan, and Niken operate like a well-trained unit. Even during busy periods, service never slipped. They are attentive, organized, and always aware of what’s happening in the room without hovering over guests.

Niken deserves a special mention, as her last day is this Sunday. She brings a natural, upbeat energy that you can’t train, and it noticeably elevates the lounge experience. She will be missed, and I wish her the best moving forward.

Dining is another area where the hotel performs well. Chef Joko is clearly running a kitchen that delivers consistency, which is not always easy at this scale.

Equally important, IBE, who appears to be managing the restaurant floor, was always present and in control of the operation. I repeatedly saw her coordinating service in a full dining room, keeping things moving smoothly without visible stress or breakdowns. That kind of floor leadership is often overlooked by guests, but it makes all the difference.

Some reviewers comment on pricing for food and beverage, and while it may not be the cheapest option in Jakarta, the quality and service I experienced justified it.

What stands out most to me is consistency. This is not a hotel that gets lucky with a few good staff members. The operation feels structured, well-led, and aligned. From front office to lounge to restaurant, the experience is cohesive.

That’s what turns a good stay into one you remember.

I highly recommend this hotel. You are greeted professionally and warmly. The rooms are clean and have a beautiful view of Jarkata. The food at the hotel is quite lovely at all times of day. At breakfast, there is a clown for the children. The kids club is fun and well located by the kid's pool. Angel was the highlight of our trip. We had a 5 star experience!

As ones that stays in Hiltons on a regular basis, this hotel is a gem and a credit to the brand.

From the moment we checked in and through every interaction with every member of staff, all were helpful professional and friendly. Staff smiles were genuine and sincere, thank you Gabriela, Kezia, Gilbert, Arman, Sultan, Wella and Putri to highlight a few team members.

The management should be super proud of the team they have created; they work exceptionally hard to ensure all hotel guests have a great experience as evident by the consistently positive Trip Advisor reviews.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained throughout. The bedrooms are well appointed featuring floor to ceiling windows that provide lovely views of this beautiful city. In addition to the usual amenities including bottled water that were refreshed on a daily basis, the room was equipped with massive high definition tv linked to a range of movie and news channels. Oh yes, the bed was to die for, super comfy with a choice of pillows that ensured plenty of restful night's sleep.

The complimentary hotel Wi-Fi was excellent even around the pool area.  Speaking of the pool, its huge complemented by comfortable sun lounges and nice fluffy towels - ideal for relaxing in the tropical heat.

The food in the multiple eateries was plentiful and with lots of healthy options too. 

As others have mentioned, the hotel is located very close to Cikini MRT station which provides cheap and convenient public transport access to downtown Jakarta.

In summary, a gem of a hotel that we intend to visit again at the earliest opportunity.

As a couple that travel a lot - this is an excellent hotel that provides an oasis of calm in a mega city. The hotel is a great location, with consistently good service, amazing pool and the Executive Lounge is fantastic ! 

Guest Relations team always shows a warm and friendly attitude, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The service from the Front Office particularly Kheyla is attentive, professional, and delivered with a genuine smile.

The hotel features spacious, elegantly decorated rooms with impressive city views and glimpses of key landmarks such as the National Monument that commemorates Indonesia's independence. 

Cleanliness and attention to detail are second to none, with housekeeping being proactive and efficient in making the hotel shine.

Staff are amazing and very helpful. In the breakfast area, we really enjoyed our daily exchange with Ibe, Anastasya, Chandra and Gabriela to name but a few.  They helped us daily and ensured our food and drink were perfect - thank you!

Jakarta and the wider area including Bandung is beautiful and this hotel made our stay even better by providing informative information about places to visit and helpful travel guidance and how to get there such as booking ticket for the "Woosh train" and the "Papandayan Panoramic train".

In the Executive lounge, we want to give our thanks to Niken, Melati, Zifora and the wider team for their effort making our current extended stay at the Doubletree Diponegoro a memorable one.

We loved the deluxe suite and amenities. Breakfast was also delicious! Staff were very accommodating in delivering breakfast up to the room when I was busy too.
