Categories

Cleanliness
7.8
Generally reported as clean in several reviews, but a few guests mentioned an unpleasant bathroom odor and minor hygiene-related issues (e.g., bathroom smell, occasional small maintenance-related cleanliness impressions).
Service
8.6
Service is frequently praised — staff described as super friendly, helpful and professional — though a few reports note reception lapses (e.g., smoking/phone use at desk, not honoring room requests).
Location
9
Consistently highlighted as a strong point: central, within walking distance of sights and station, easy to reach — many guests specifically praised the location and convenience.
Room Quality
7
Multiple comments about small or cramped rooms, broken showerhead/TV, limited storage (no closet), and some dated fixtures — comfort (beds) often good but room condition and size are recurring negatives.
Amenities
7.4
Amenities mixed: free/on-site parking and air conditioning praised, but parking can be narrow or unexpectedly charged, some AC/TV controls and shower drainage issues reported.
Value for Money
8.6
Several guests explicitly noted strong price-quality ratio and good value; occasional negatives relate to unexpected parking charges but overall value perceived positively.
Food and Beverage
7.6
Breakfast mentioned a few times as adequate but limited in choice for the price; not a dominant theme in reviews, generally neutral-to-slightly-positive impressions.
Overall Experience
8
Overall sentiment is positive with many 'perfect' or 'very good' notes, balanced by recurring small issues (room size, parking surprises, occasional maintenance problems).

No nonsense comfort in het hart van Nancy.
Pros:
