Fernhill House Hotel & Gardens

Amazing family owned hotel I stayed for three nights in September as a woman on her own I found it very safe and comfortable, the gardens were incredible and it was lovely to take a walk after breakfast.
The breakfast was included and it was amazing using freshly sourced ingredients from the area.
Over all everything was perfect, can’t recommend this Hotel enough.

Beautiful hotel, lovely overnight Summer stay. Room was absolutely gorgeous.. Huge with big bathroom and huge bathtub.
Gardens are stunning, a lovely place for a wedding I would say. Great staff and lots of them around, especially at dinner time. Quick and efficient.
Located just outside the town but on a hill with stunning country views.
Some building work happening at present but I can see the need for extra rooms as it is a stunning location for weddings.. It didn't disrupt our stay.
We will be back to stay again. Lovely hotel.

Upselling at the front desk. 40 dollars for an early check in. Location not the best

Amazing! Our stay was perfect from check in, to complimentary drinks, to a clean & comfortable room, to a delicious full breakfast, to the wonderful garden tour. Everyone was genuinely pleasant, kind, & courteous. So far, this was our favorite hotel on our trip to Ireland. Thank you!

A really lovely hotel and a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to sit with a drink or book and obviously beautiful gardens to explore. Food was delicious! Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

This was a beautiful hotel on expansive grounds. The restaurant was very good with reasonable prices.

My sister and I have just spent 2 most enjoyable 2 nights at the Fernhill Hotel in Clonakilty. Everything was amazing from the warm welcome at Reception, the comfortable bedroom and exceptional food. The breakfast was fabulous and dinner most enjoyable.
The hotel is lovely but the staff are fabulous - everyone was so pleasant and helpful and cheerful. Enormous thank you to you all

Two day business trip, Cork was booked up but so glad we found the Fernhill and Clonakilty. Beautiful Hotel with the best breakfast ever shame Clonakilty called for the evening as I’m sure the restaurant would have been lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff, will be back

Very friendly & welcoming staff. Gardens were really beautiful, was a shame it was raining so much. Very comfortable rooms.

Staff was wonderful and the food was excellent.

Our 2 night stay at Fernhill was fabulous. All the staff were super nice and friendly, The room was clean, spacious and we were welcome with a couple of lovely gifts (chocolate and free drink). The garden is well worth a visit, enjoyed seeing the lights, the plants and all the bees. We also had a drink at the bar and ate of an evening, this was very good and so was the breakfast. Probably our nicest stay away ever. Thanks to all who made it happen at Fernhill.
