A good experience of traveling to Tbilis city.

Cleanes is terrible I surprised when I encountered to bed linens.!!!! I thinks it is not just more than 2 star hotel.You should ask them frequently yo change the pillow and bed. I hope I did not get any skin illness.
The location is far from city center.

I stayed at Golden Palace Hotel Tbilisi for three nights in May 2025 and was very disappointed. This hotel is definitely not up to 5-star standards.

The room was uncomfortably hot. Despite my complaints, three technicians came but couldn’t solve the issue, and they also refused to change my room.

Breakfast was repetitive and lacked variety.
The location is far from the city center, which made it inconvenient.

The only positive aspects were the cleanliness of the hotel and the polite behavior of the staff.

I was charged 300 GEL for smoking in the room, even though I only smoked on the balcony. After I left, housekeeping entered the room and it smelled of smoke — likely from them. Management refused to investigate and blamed me.

I paid only to avoid conflict, not because I accepted guilt. This seems like a scam targeting tourists. Be extremely careful with this hotel. Document everything.

Very disappointing experience.

Nice and friendly receptionist, clean comfortable and large rooms, a 24/7 supermarket next building,also a nice restaurant with delicious breakfast and cuisine in the 6th floor( Saffron).
Highly recommended.

A bad and irresponsible hotel and an unprofessional restaurant manager were responsible for the party arrangement. We were at a wedding party but got no service. Two unskilled waiters were running around without keeping track of who had been given drinks. We had three different main courses and two different salads for dinner. I don't think the organizers spent very much money on the food!!

A DJ played with an unbelievably high bass in the speakers, and on top of that we were told that they would close the party hall at 12. If you want to enjoy your holiday in Tbilisi, never set foot in the Golden Palace Hotel. Airbnb is much better and you save a lot. I have never experienced anything like it.

Probably the worst breakfast i have ever eaten in my years of travel. The restaurant is really bad . The poool doesnt work . It says 5star but its a 3 star hotel. I can say so many bad things. One day the restauyarea is so cold u have to wear to cloth some days its not that cold. The breakfast is cold the eggs are cold. Really bad managing 👎🏻 they say it has pool area but when u get here they say its closed.

the restaurant was good and waiter and waitress are skilled (sepehr), swimming pool not in order, house keeping was good, internet in room was weak! location was not bad dist to nearest mall around 6 min (5-8GEL), but my advice is using yandex app for taking a taxi

The rooms were big. The behavior of the staff was good. The distance from the city center was long. But the breakfast was not good at all, the showers were broken and did not have proper facilities. There was no hair conditioner, body lotion, shaving equipment, or iron.

The hotel location is not good and too far from city center,but the rooms are convenient enough and clean also big enough,the reception staff are kind and cooperative specifically maryam who is very friendly and guanta,breakfast is good and tasty with helpful and kind staff specifically mr sepehr who is very friendly at saffron restaurant.

The staff were excellent. The receptions of hotel especially miss Maryam was so friendly and helpful. The room was so clean. The breakfast was so tasty and fresh. I strongly recommend it to others. Beside the hotel is located a supermarket that would be so helpful.

If you are visiting Tbilisi it is an affordable place to be in. Friendly staff. Clean and neat rooms. Beautiful rooms. Breakfast is included, food is nice. They have one of the best Indian restaurants in the premise. Jimmy Jimmy with nice view of the city and good ambiance.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights.. great smiling staff.. Lana and Mariam.. they welcomed us like a family and gave all the information about the hotel..
Food in jimmy jimmy restaurant was up to the mark.
This place makes you feel like home

we booked this hotel for 4 nights from booking site. but after we arrived we shocked it was 2 star even worse! the hotel is 10 km far from the center and the taxi driver don't know where it is
first there was no porter so we had to go up by ourselves with all of our luggage
the room is full of dust and noisy , the air conditioners are really bad
the safety box is broken!!!!! and when my husband told the reception guy he said you can saved your staff in reception's safety box!
buffet breakfast was so awful
so we stayed only 1 night in this hotel and the next day we went to another hotel
i recommend if you want to enjoy tbilisi don't choose this hotel

I have checked in early in the morning(02:00) and got room 526 which is next to staff room. Approximately at 6:30-7:00 in the morning the staff has arrived. I was disturbed by their loud conversations. Later i just feel a sleep around 08:00 and some renovation works have started. I have addressed this issue to receptionist and they promised to stop it. I had to made another call at 10:00 with the same complain. Same promise was given to me, no changes. Next my call was at 16:00 ( I was out between 10:00 and 15:00). Same promise, no action. The same repeated two more times till 20:30 ( workers were still working against all rules).I've got fed up and have made a rough complain with requesting my day payment back for this day.I have shifted to another hotel. Looks like management does not care about customers and staff is not active at all to satisfy basic requirements of hotel.Very sad experience. Also; nobody informed me about ongoing works in this hotel before I had checked in.

The experience of 5 days stay is such below:
proper hotel with tidy and modern rooms, clean bathroom, suitable buffet breakfast , friendly behavior of receptions, big accomodation also the hotel has a small and nice pool so you can relax there any time 😊 but it’s obligatory to know the location is far from city center and you shall take a taxi to reach there but No worries there is a bus station exactly front of hotel which easily take you to every where of city that you need.

The rooms have very old furniture, full of dust, mini bar empty for a standard room (only one tiny bottle of water for 2 persons), cups were dirty, one plastic spoon for 2 people, no privacy or clean up room brochures. Service was okay except terrible reception staff, they answered "I'm not sure" to every simple question of mine. But the worst thing that happened to me was that OTHER GUEST ENTERED MY ROOM AT 4-5 AM!!! He was as shocked as me because he thought it was his fault, but I had only one key for my entire stay and only reception staff could give it to other guest by mistake. when I called to reception they just said "oh, sorry" AND HANG UP !! did not even listen to me, so the guest had to go down by himself with all his luggage to solve the problem. I know that everything happens and service can be horrible, but this was too much, especially when there are several other mistakes that I am not gonna mention. The restaurant food was awful (which is rare for Georgia) so I did not even have breakfast after the first time I tasted their dishes. I do not want to be afraid of falling asleep while my stay at any hotel so that's why I was shook after 2 days there. But it's a really nice place if the owner will take a good good care of the hotel construction and staff in the first place! Also this hotel DEFINITELY Does not have 4 stars as they claim!!!

I stayed at the hotel for two weeks; the staff was amazing. The housekeeping ladies were the sweetest. Though sometimes when I ordered food it used to come a bit late. But apart from that I can’t really complain much. The room was always clean and spot on. Yes if seen from tourist’s point of view the hotel is quite far from the city’s main attraction. If you don’t mind the car ride to the main city then it’s worth your money. Also last but not least the vegetarian pizza and chicken fajita were my favorite and I did order them quite a few times. I can’t wait to get back!

This hotel is no longer the good hotel.
Their service was really terrible.
They act as if they don't have any responsivilities in that.
And the room was so tidy and messy.
This was the worst experience in Georgia.
