The breakfast at the restaurant was amazing . The manager in charge took care of our dietary requirements and went beyond in expectations. He arranged for Indian food for my family. Highly recommended. They are customer centric ! Kudos !

I must also add that their antique bazaar Indian restaurant is classic . The ambience is very unique and the food tasted awesome ! Must visit ! Prices are nominal and excellent hospitality. We all enjoyed it

We asked the concierge to call a regular taxi to the airport, but instead of arranging an official taxi, we were taken to a car that was already waiting in front of the hotel.

It felt uncomfortable because the concierge staff and the driver seemed to know each other, and it gave us the impression that there might be a private arrangement between them.

As hotel guests, we expect transparent and trustworthy service, especially when it comes to transportation. This experience left us feeling disappointed.

there was no hair dryer available in our room. This is a basic amenity that guests generally expect to be provided, and its absence caused inconvenience during our stay.
during check-out, we were informed that housekeeping confirmation was required in order to process the deposit refund. As a result, we had to stand and wait in the lobby for approximately 10 minutes, which felt unnecessary and poorly managed, especially at the time of departure.

I have never experienced such poor service at a hotel in Dubai. The price and the level of service do not match at all, and in my opinion this hotel does not deserve a single star.

During my stay, the customer service was extremely poor. Housekeeping repeatedly forgot to provide clean towels, were very stingy with toilet paper, and took an unreasonably long time to respond when called. On top of that, when contacting the reception from the room, I was constantly transferred from one department to another instead of having my needs handled properly the first time. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

After checkout, the situation only became worse. Once the money has been taken, it seems impossible to get it back. It has now been 21 days, and I still have not received my deposit. The hotel cannot be contacted via WhatsApp, and when sending an email, the head office responds only to forward the message to the hotel. After that, there is no response at all.

I find it extremely embarrassing that a hotel chooses to keep 500 dirhams from its guests. This was my first and last stay at this hotel.

Excellent customer service, friendly and professional. Enjoyed the scent in the hotel and the festive decor and music.

We have been to Dubai as a family many times but I would say staying at The Carlton Hotel downtown was the best by far. Everything was amazing especially Abdul. From the first day we met Abdul till the end he was amazing in every way. He helped us with all our needs and went beyond to make our stay pleasant. I would give Abdul 10/10 for his service.
Keep up the great work Abdul you deserve it.

Great location for the hotel, stone throw away from metro station and in heart of downtown. Folks at reception and overall service staff has excellent attitude. Rooms are space and with awesome views, try to select upper floors for panoramic views.

Advice to Hotel Management : It is time to renovate the rooms and have the modern amenities, at times the room felt dated.

In the heart of downtown. Only one metro station away from Dubai mall. Walking distance from Museum of the Future. Lots of facilities and shops around. All necessities available on 24/7.
All other attractions are easily rechable by the Red Line Metro.
Breakfast buffet is superb.
Room service is excellent.
Will come back !

Great hotel with amazing views of Dubai Downtown. The manager Mr Gopa understands customers very well. The 12pm checkout is quite convenient as it does not put guests under a lot of pressure to pack and leave and have breakfast.

Furniture is great especially downstairs and reception area. Having 3 restaurants in the builiding and which close very late is a huge plus too.

The recommendation I would give are:
1. To have more options on the TV channels
2. Round plug electric adapter for guests from countries that do not use square types.
3. Mentioning the 500AED deposit upfront so that guests plan accordingly.

Other than that I give Carlton Hotel Downtown a full 5 Stars.

Room and location is really great.We have really good holiday.Because of high floor we have mesmarising view.

I stayed at Carlton downtown hotel in Dubai with my friend at Nov 2025 and recommend it for a comfortable and affordable stay in Dubai.
Good points:
-Great location at Sheykh Zaed road,right next to the Financial center metro station. Dubai Mall is just one metro stop away.
-The room had a nice view and was spacious(70-75 sqm) with a full kitchen (cooker,fridge,washing machine)making it feel like home.
-Friendly staff and rooms were always clean
-Breakfast had good variety and the team quickly refilled food and clean tables.

Not so good points:
-One day, there was no hot water, and I had to wait 15 minutes after pressing the boiler button.
-elevators made a loud noise when we waited for them on the higher floor ,it was not annoying for rooms but not seems normal!

Despite these small issues, they didn't affect our overall experience. For the price and location, this hotel is excellent, especially if you want spacious rooms, a kitchen, and easy metro access without paying a lot.

Very attentive staff. Breakfast views is the best, food is nice as well, good staff. Will com back for sure. Glad we stayed here

Good afternoon.

The hotel is quite new, and the lobby has just been renovated. Our room was cozy and included a studio kitchen and a separate bedroom. Our room was cleaned daily, and clean towels were provided.

I especially want to mention the breakfast, it was varied, including European, vegetarian, Indian cousine. The pastries were very delicious, as were the fresh fruits and vegetables, porridges, etc.. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of Dubai. And on the 47th floor, there is a rooftop pool with a view of the Burj Khalifa,the tower was visible from our room as well.
The metro is 2 min. away (Financial Centre metro station, just one stop to Burj Khalifa m.st. )
I want to specifically thank you for the sweet gift on my birthday, it was a surprise, and I was very touched. The staff is very helpful,we were provided with bottles of water every day.

I stayed before few days in Carlton. I got an upgrade for my rooms was spacious and good view, Priya at the reception she is amazing and always ready to help. Also all the facilities was amazing.
