The buffet restaurant at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The food selection was wide and well-balanced, offering both international and local dishes, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The dining area was clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was great value and a perfect place to enjoy a satisfying meal. I would definitely recommend it and would happily dine here again.

I have to say I’ve been staying at the Carlton Downtown Dubai for years, and every time I feel absolutely wonderful — it truly feels like a home away from home. The entire staff is kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
A special mention goes to Raphael, the head waiter, who is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares about the guests.
The breakfast is varied and very good, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. If you are gluten intolerant, you can simply ask and they will happily provide gluten-free alternatives.
From the comfort of the rooms to the excellent service, everything is good. I would gladly return again and again, and highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast at the restaurant was amazing . The manager in charge took care of our dietary requirements and went beyond in expectations. He arranged for Indian food for my family. Highly recommended. They are customer centric ! Kudos !
I must also add that their antique bazaar Indian restaurant is classic . The ambience is very unique and the food tasted awesome ! Must visit ! Prices are nominal and excellent hospitality. We all enjoyed it
We asked the concierge to call a regular taxi to the airport, but instead of arranging an official taxi, we were taken to a car that was already waiting in front of the hotel.
It felt uncomfortable because the concierge staff and the driver seemed to know each other, and it gave us the impression that there might be a private arrangement between them.
As hotel guests, we expect transparent and trustworthy service, especially when it comes to transportation. This experience left us feeling disappointed.
there was no hair dryer available in our room. This is a basic amenity that guests generally expect to be provided, and its absence caused inconvenience during our stay.
during check-out, we were informed that housekeeping confirmation was required in order to process the deposit refund. As a result, we had to stand and wait in the lobby for approximately 10 minutes, which felt unnecessary and poorly managed, especially at the time of departure.
I have never experienced such poor service at a hotel in Dubai. The price and the level of service do not match at all, and in my opinion this hotel does not deserve a single star.
During my stay, the customer service was extremely poor. Housekeeping repeatedly forgot to provide clean towels, were very stingy with toilet paper, and took an unreasonably long time to respond when called. On top of that, when contacting the reception from the room, I was constantly transferred from one department to another instead of having my needs handled properly the first time. This level of service is completely unacceptable.
After checkout, the situation only became worse. Once the money has been taken, it seems impossible to get it back. It has now been 21 days, and I still have not received my deposit. The hotel cannot be contacted via WhatsApp, and when sending an email, the head office responds only to forward the message to the hotel. After that, there is no response at all.
I find it extremely embarrassing that a hotel chooses to keep 500 dirhams from its guests. This was my first and last stay at this hotel.

We have been to Dubai as a family many times but I would say staying at The Carlton Hotel downtown was the best by far. Everything was amazing especially Abdul. From the first day we met Abdul till the end he was amazing in every way. He helped us with all our needs and went beyond to make our stay pleasant. I would give Abdul 10/10 for his service.

Great location for the hotel, stone throw away from metro station and in heart of downtown. Folks at reception and overall service staff has excellent attitude. Rooms are space and with awesome views, try to select upper floors for panoramic views.
Advice to Hotel Management : It is time to renovate the rooms and have the modern amenities, at times the room felt dated.

In the heart of downtown. Only one metro station away from Dubai mall. Walking distance from Museum of the Future. Lots of facilities and shops around. All necessities available on 24/7.
All other attractions are easily rechable by the Red Line Metro.
Breakfast buffet is superb.
Room service is excellent.
