Wo sind die 4 Sterne?
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind renoviert, der Frühstücksraum auch.

Cons:

Es ist unser Meinung nach kein 4 Sterne Hotel. Im Eingang zum Frühstücksraum sind 3 Sterne angebracht.
Zum Eingangsbereich führt eine steile Treppe und man kommt gleich zur Rezeption. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist auch Frühstücksraum. Kein Kaffe oder Wasser steht zur Verfügung. Im Raum selbst kein Wasserkocher. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der gleichen Etage wie die Rezeption. Fenster zum Frühstücksraum, somit kein Lüften möglich und um 6 Uhr wird man geweckt, da der Frühstücksraum vorbereitet wird. Der Raum sehr klein und stickig. Mit zwei Koffern hat man kaum Platz. Im Bad roch es aus dem Abfluss, auch nachdem Wasser durchgelaufen ist. Betten unbequem, die Kissen so fest, dass man Nackenschmerzen davon getragen hat. Das Bad ist auch max 1qm und keine Ablagemöglichkeit.
Wir haben definitiv etwas anderes erwartet. Basierend auf der Situation haben wir gleich am Nachmittag um Stornierung der nächsten Nacht gebeten. Leider ist nicht mal ein Angebot vom Hotel gekommen. Wir haben den vollen Preis für die Nacht bezahlt.

Smutsig trappa när vi kom. Trånga rum. Väldigt spartansk frukost. Inga grönsaker, bara en sorts bröd (barkis).

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a lovely selection. The price was very reasonable.

Cons:

I unfortunately arrived the day after the carnival in the city and there was broken glass everywhere outside the hotel although not the fault of the hotel. Arriving by bicycle (touring) this was very stressful. The hotel is açcessed up a flight of stairs and I found it hard carrying my folding bike and bags up.

Location is perfect, and the facilites are okay, works perfectly fine.

Cons:

Well, i didnt really pay attention to the size of the room. My room was small. And we have window which facing the restaurant so it was kinda weird.

Det ene værelse stank af kloak og der var ikke noget personale at få fat i efter kl. 18.
Ved morgenmaden manglede både det og det andet, og der gik lang tid inden det blev fyldt op.

Busy location.
Cons:

The pictures definitely make it look a lot better than what it was. The staff left my friends room unclean for 2 days after reporting it until the day before we were going to leave plus charged him £175 or they would kick us all out the hotel.
