Comfortable room but parking and breakfast might be problematic
Pros:

I booked this hotel about six hours before arriving due to a last-minute trip to Fort McMurray in the middle of January. The hotel was quiet and the room was clean and adequately appointed for one night. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

I arrived with a pick-up truck and parking was a problem. With no driveway, and snow piles on the street, there was no where to temporarily park the vehicle during check-in. There is a small covered parking area (for about five vehicles) along a back lane, but if that is full I don't know what options there are.
The complimentary breakfast turned out to be a bag with a hard boiled egg, yogurt, muffin of unknown age and a pre-manufactured egg sandwich with a label saying "packaged August 26, 2025", five months previous.

A functional and spacious stay with dated amenities and a disappointing breakfast offering
Pros:

The room was spacious and well maintained, with a large and practical desk that was particularly convenient. Basic amenities such as a refrigerator and microwave, although dated, were fully functional, and the room included plates, which made it easy to eat takeaway meals. Natural daylight significantly improved the overall brightness of the room, and two complimentary bottles of water were a thoughtful touch.

Cons:

Several elements of the room felt outdated. The television was old and did not support HDMI connections or streaming services such as Netflix. The coffee machine and alarm clock were also old, with the clock showing the incorrect time. Artificial lighting in the room was rather dim, making the space feel somewhat dull in the evening. Additionally, breakfast did not meet expectations, as it was provided in a takeaway bag rather than as a buffet or in a designated breakfast area.
