We stopped here for a night on our way across to Malaysia.
Nice hotel with lovely rustic rooms and a nice pool.
Can recommend a stay here if you are in Satun.

Good swimming pool. breakfast so so. Meals Sent out for, but OK but can be spicy. TV poor only one film channel in English.

Gleam resort is a gem! It is small enough to be personal, has a feel of privacy, is close to the town and close to the edge of town - you can just walk both to shops and restaurands and into the mangrove forest.
The rooms are very well designed, very comfortable, very well maintained and cleaned.
The garden and the swimming pool are a delight. And it is hard to believe how quiet the place is, given it is on the edge of town.

I put in 5* hotels in Satun & this came up. I wasnt expecting a 5* but didn't want a basic anonymous hotel which is what one may expect in a far flung town such as Satun. Well ... What a surprise & much more so in reality. This place has been created & made into a haven by the owner whose played down elegant graciousness & manners are second to none & permeate every aspect of the Gleam. The rooms are beautiful, modern & spacious with polished concrete walls & many windows outside of which there are lush tropical plants of huge variety & Soft curtains hang on each & there is thedeepest mattress made with pristine silky white linen & origami towels on ones arrival... There are green wooden shuttered doors & paintings & outside metal barrels designed for seating ...everywhere are tall trees,plants & birdsong & apart from the odd distant bike this is all you can hear ... The pool is 10 metres I think & set in lawns & frangipani trees ... My partner & I had the room next to the pool .. There were just 4 rooms in occupation when we went & then just one & it was empty all the 4 days we were there. the whole experience was akin to a peaceful retreat ... We are vegetarian & the food was fresh & we only had to ask for certain vegetables .. Nuts added & it was done... The small restaurant is by a beautiful fish pool & fountain .. The owner provides free bikes of different sizes so you can cycle into town... Blissful place

If there would have been more attractions in the area we would had stayed there longer. Very clean and good taken care of hotel. Also very quiet.

1hour boat from langkawi great place to stay for a short visit or to do a visa run not much to do in satin so just make it a quick visit staying in gleam resort has lovely small swimming pool ,`Ao who runs it is very helpful and they have a lovely little dog called songkran .clean white sheets comfortable beds and nice decor nice gardens all in all a little gem,will defiantly go back again thank you Ao chris and keith

We only had one night at the hotel which were very difficult to find. But positively surprised when we found it. Next time we come to that part of the country we will without doubt stay there again.

great new hotel in quiet Satun Thailand. Free bikes to get around, only 3-4 blocks from the downtown areas. Beautiful gardens. Friendly staff, very comfortable beds and rooms! Slept SO well here. This is my second stay and will stay here again next time I come to Satun.

Das kleine familiengeführte Resort hat unsere Erwartungen noch weit übertroffen. Der gepflegte tropische Garten, der Pool, der schön gestaltete Bungalow mit kleiner Terrasse und Sitzmöbeln, das leckere Frühstück und nicht zuletzt die Herzlichkeit der Besitzerin machen das Resort zu einer wahren Oase in dieser sympathischen Kleinstadt. Die Anlage ist erst 1,5 Jahre alt und soll auch nicht erweitert werden, um die private Atmosphäre zu erhalten. Unser Vanfahrer hatte anfangs Mühe, das Gleam Resort zu finden, denn es ist auch unter Einheimischen bisher kaum bekannt und liegt etwas versteckt am Rande des Ortes. Zu Fuß ist es ein Spaziergang in die Ortsmitte, aber auch Räder und Mopeds stehen zur Verfügung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The resort is ok with few mishaps; when booking the standard room it is not specified that there is no fridge in the room

Absolutely lovely. Fantastic room which was spotless. Gorgeous surroundings and pool. Great food. Refreshing drink on arrival. Lovely staff. We only stayed one night and really wish we could have stayed longer. Didn't even leave the resort as it was too nice!

I highly recommend this resort! The individual rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with lovely planting around each one so you can sit outside with some privacy. They thought of everything here for your comfort!
It is elegant and quiet. They have a small cafe with a limited menu but adequate and cheap. If you want to drink alcohol they only have beer. The small pool is lovely but only two sunbeds! If I need to do another visa run I will go there again!

We stayed here for 4 nights and really loved it! This is a small family run resort, set in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool.
The bungalows are well designed and roomy with a very comfy king size bed and nice linens. Everything in and around the resort is meticulously maintained, it is very very clean! We ate all of our meals at the resort, the food was delicious so we just didn't feel the need to look elsewhere. Ao was so kind and helped us in arranging taxi's and also helped with all of our questions. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Satun.
