Host was very nice and informative. Apartment gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy coffee outside on the balcony.
All was good
The apartments (one before and a different one after we traveled to Torres del Paine) are both very spacious. The one upstairs is better furnished, but both are very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are large.. The views of the lake and the mountains beyond cannot be beat for both apartments. The apartments are a few steps from the full-service hotel with a 24-hour front desk of the same establishment. Tours pick up from this hotel. The hotels held our bags while we traveled light by bus to Torres del Paine, which was very much appreciated.
The wi-fi at the apartments is a little weak, but guests can go to the cozy hotel lobby to use the wi-fi. The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from town and down a fairly steep hill, but is close to the bus station for those planning to take the bus to Torres del Paine. Night-time quietness is definitely desirable for peaceful rest. So the weaknesses are not all negative and are surmountable.
We came back after our first stay, that alone speaks to the quality. Though I must say we liked the room we had the second time around a lot better than the first room

Just a bit far from town, a 18 minute walk to most restaurants and stores. There was 1 restaurant nearby about 5 minutes.

There’s a restaurant on premises. Not enough veggie options for us though. And they do offer a box lunch, but again not good for vegetarians.

The shower however was very weak pressure. This was really the only drawback.

Friendly and helpful staff, very large studio room that included a kettle, microwave and full sized fridge, and even 2x single beds for children that weren't pictured during booking. Breakfast was adequate quality considering the price of booking, and included ham, cheese and fresh vegetable and fruit.
Our room was at the end of the corridor and the internet connection there was very limited.

We arrived early and wanted to leave our bags however the staff member handed us a key to a room so we thought he was allowing us to check in early. When we left the room another staff member tried to charge us for an extra night because we had used the room (we were in there for 30 minutes). I told this staff member what had happened and this new staff member grumbled and after some back and forth agreed to "waive" this. Also they wrongly charged my card - the amount we paid was almost $40 more than what was on booking.com.
The room was strange and dirty, the bathroom sink drained into a bucket. We ended up not staying there for the night and checked out after this awful experience.
