Front desk guy said I was half hour early to check in even though they approved the check in time so I waited at the front desk for thirty minutes, then the time hit and said ok you can check in, nothing changed in that time.

Accessible to many amenties
Pros:

The ocean view from the room window was nice. The rooms were spacious. Restaurants, coffee shops, banks and stores are at walking distance, was very convenient.

Cons:

Bad odour in the elevator and hallway. Recommend to use some mild air freshener.
Bathroom door requires repair.
Staff at the reception didn't bother to offer help to carry my suitcases (9) to the 4th floor, in the elevator. Could have been a nice gesture to offer little help, especially when some one just arrived from the Airport with small kids crying due to Jet lag.

Good in a pinch, wouldn't be my first choice
Pros:

Room was cleaned and had air conditioning. Right beside a lot of nice restaurants and main bus routes. Came with a kitchenette. They let us leave our bags before check in

Cons:

There was a very irritating buzzing sound throughout the entire building, except when we were in our room. (thank god). Wasn't a super well taken care of building, wouldn't say it was worth the $275 we spent after taxes

Pros:

Loved the location. Wished our room's view of the ocean wasn't covered by the tree outside- but overall perfect location. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was spacious.

The most affordable, comfortable and secure place you will stay in English Bay.
Pros:

I've stayed here several times and it's always been great. It's quirky, quite vintage, but for the price it's the best in the area. Views over English Bay, always quiet despite being in the heart of everything there, very helpful staff and secure, gated parking with 24hr access. It is slightly dated, especially with the ovens supplied (2 stove tops didn't work and I stayed in a few different rooms and each room had different applicances or kitchen gadgets), however - again - for the price I would highly recommend as if I needed anything and asked they would always really try and help.

Cons:

Some stains on mattresses and dated appliances and building, but for the cost it's for sure worth it.

This is a health hazard

It’s accessible for public transit

Cons:

The room we booked is not the same as the pictures. ITS A HEALTH HAZARD due to the rug it’s very dark and has a smell, specially in the hallways.

When I first entered the room my skin just started flaring up and having some rashes. It’s so itchy and my asthma is triggering
