2nd trip. Just as great as the 1st. We'll be back

Cons:

The only issue was some noise from the street. Unfortunately it was too warm to close the windows. This wasn't the hotel's fault. It was just the day it was. Due to the buildings age and character it wouldn't be possible to put in AC. So the fans provided are the only air flow on hot nights.

Very enjoyable stay in an individual hotel full of quirky charm
Pros:

This place has a fantastic location. We found it easily, using the satnav, and were able to park in the road near the hotel. It’s right on the edge of the historic centre, near some very nice restaurants. The lack of a lift could be difficult for some, but the hotel has great character and charm. Breakfast was plentiful, and was served in a lovely dining room. There’s no aircon, but we had a fan, which helped us to sleep on a very hot night. The position means that you do hear street noise and the trams passing close by, but at night it all quietens down and we both slept well. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes a hotel that has its own distinctive style.

Cons:

Can’t think of anything. The lack of a lift and aircon are made plain before you book, so if these are important to you, maybe look elsewhere.

Beautiful characterful hotel privately oened by same family since 1903. Full.of original features and drcorstion. Very friendly attentive staff.

Cons:

We didnt mind but sastairs to rpoms are steep so wouldnt suit evrryone

Excellent hotel in good location.
Pros:

The hotel is very well located for sightseeing, restaurants and close to the train station. The decor in our room was lovely and bed comfy.

Cons:

Some noise from street when window was open overnight.
A kettle with tea and coffee in the room would have been good to have.
