Celyn Hotel, City Mall

small & very shabby, dirty bathroom (hairs all over floor) Toilet would not flush & had to be mended. Water pouring out go roof in hallway directly outside our room.

Celyn Hotel is located near a mall which is an ideal location. The hotel furnishing is as good as any 3star hotel however the maintenance of the hotel was disappointing. The room and bathroom was not thoroughly clean and had leftovers from the previous guest. I had to personally scrub the bathroom. Bedsheets also had greyish hue to it including the towels rather than the fresh white colour that normal hotels would have. It is ashamed that such a hotel is poorly maintained and it seems as though the management hasn't taken any noticed of it.

Nice place and a good value. Staff was super kind. Steps away from a mall and eating places! Good location

Hotel was at a good location...
no worry’s on grocery’s even if forgetter to bring along... food was good easily available
But hotel walkway was bit warm no aircond.. or air...
Inner room wall plugs was not user friendly..
like you got to off the water boiler was not at the right place.. phone and laptop charging was not in a right place ..
overall good.. always room for improvement..

Not meet expectation at all. Smell of cockroaches in the room/toilet. Found cockroaches in the toilet.

Unfriendly welcome! Takes long minutes to do the checkin. Got smoky smells room, was asking to change the room to none smoking room and waited again.. not enough electric plug in the room.

Convinient

Had to change room because the air conditioning was not working properly. After change of room the air conditioning was average as well. Not cold enough. On top of that the mall was doing some sort of renovation at night which was very noisy, but hotel staff was kind enough to inform mall management to cease work on hotel side.

nice place to relex

The hotel staffs were polite and friendly. The room was clean even though the facility was a bit old. It was good for short stay with a shopping mall nearby. However, it is not recommended if you stay there without your own car. No public transport available.
One thing should be improved: the late check out normally comes with a reasonable charge. The hotel's charge was comparably costly at MYR30 per hour while a night stay cost about MYR150. No flexibility to waive or reduce the charges even though i wanted to check out around 4pm.

we booked the room at city mall and soon finally I got wrong because it is far away from the cityb center ,ask the staff to change to
cely hotel in town .They are helpful to help me and successfully check in what I want and arrange the local cheap taxi for us . Thanks

Just a normal hotel with the great deal

Its convenient..a walk away from the mall CITYMALL..however d sink in the bathroom clogged & all rooms without bathtub.

Its pleasant enough. Convenient. Some things in need of maintenance .. overall ok.
