Pros:

Convenient location steps away from the train station (and also several food stores); very friendly and helpful staff, well organized. Room was quite roomy (unusual in Japan!), convenient, well appointed, and hotel was quiet at night.

Pros:

Very convenient location close to Kyoto station. Great for travelling and exploring Kyoto. Room is quite spacious and quiet, well equipped with everything you need for a restful stay. Decor is a bit dated but that's the only down side really. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Traveled with family. The room was small, which I figured so we got two rooms for the 4 of us. The bed was really hard. The room’s ceiling was peeling a bit. The location was great though and a reasonable price, even for 2 rooms

Great place
Pros:

Stayed for 5 days with husband and 14 year old grandson. Room was perfect for us, had washer & dryers on the first floor which is something we always look for. Pretty convenient from the train station. Lawson right by hotel. They provide free coffee, juice and amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location for our trip!
Pros:

The hotel was really close to Kyoto station so we were able to take local busses and subway quickly to different locations.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They stored our luggage and delivered to our rooms since we were a couple of hours early.

Upon checkout, we needed to visit a store near the market so they allowed us to store our luggage for about 3 hours before we boarded our train to Osaka.

Overall, we would go back and stay on this hotel again on our next trip to Kyoto.
