SP Chaweng Palace

Stayed here just for the 1 night. Cheap accommodation, very friendly welcome, clean room, nice pool, all basics included, 5 minute walk (if that) to the beach, nice restaurants just a few minutes away.

Felt very secure, easy quick check in. As mentioned, it is basic / cheap accommodation, but as it’s Ko Samui, you’ll spend all your time out exploring or outside relaxing anyway!

Nice and clean rooms, good pool, friendly staff. This place is close to everything. You can take a walk to the Green Mango area or Central Festival or to the beach. Still it's a quiet place. Nearby you can find restaurants, laundry service, shops..

Stayed here 4 weeks over Xmas 2017 and New Year. Peak season so expected a hike in the rate which is fine. Large rooms, with small balcony, TV, air-con, fridge and large shower. Kettle, tea and coffee now provided in the room too. Large bed, 'very' firm mattress but the new pillows are far too big and hard, very uncomfortable.. but after a few beers who cares!! Sometimes the towels were very smelly which happens when laundry isn't properly dry. Good staff in reception.

Good location. Close to airport, I stopped a shuttle on the street, he charged me 50 Tbh for ride to airpoft. Good water pressure. Great hot water. Good wifi. Great staff. Good AC. Require a 1000 Tbh deposit for key - I didn't like that. Do not provide shampoo.

This hotel is good value for money, especially as an alternative to some of the more expensive beachside hotels. The SP Chaweng Palace is on the street that runs parallel to the main Chaweng street so it is only a short walk to Chaweng Beach. The room is large and has good amenities for a hotel of its standard. Breakfast is not included but there is a coffee shop next door. I only needed an overnight but I was pleased I chose to stay at this hotel.

Good location, friendly staff it is dated but if you just want a place to get your head Down it's ideal

this is a nice little hotel. 10/15mins walk from beach same to henry afrikas.
room was big,air con worked well and there was a fridge tv and safe. pool was clean and it was quiet.
would recommend to anyone not wanting to pay through the nose for a hotel in samui

This hotel is basic and 10 minutes away from Chaweng Beach which is dotted with bars, restaurants & markets. The room itself was large with aircon however, the wifi on offer was very intermittent. The only downsides we had were that the room wasn't very clean, lots of stains here and there but for the price you pay and the size of the room on offer we would stay here again if visiting Chaweng.

walking distance to the Ark Bark, u just need to know the short cut. 10mins away from the airport. We arrived late around 10pm and check out around 9am, the hotel is just nice for us.

Great hotel close enough to the action yet far enough away from the noise. The staff here are supurb and try very hard to fulfil any request. Guest friendly and great value. I would stay again.

I have chosen this location because it's close to main Chaweng but there is no limitations by 1 way road rules (till you go there).
It's safe, clean and cheap. Rooms are big and AC is working fine. Receptionist is very friendly. Staying on the ground floor next to the reception, easy access to my bike.

Reception staff are very helpful my bags were misplaced travelling and they would let me call the airport every day till they arrived. The pool is small but there was not many people staying in the hotel so was fine. Rooms are basic and there is a nice Thai restaurant beside the hotel also.

Stayed here a few times, its only a 5 minute walk to the center of Chaweng and the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants, shops and massage parlors. The room is large with fridge, TV, nice sized bathroom and large double bed with air-con. The balcony looks over the swimming pool and the hotel is set back around 30 meters away from the main road. The hotel is very quiet. They have there own car park and security guard. Free wifi , couple of bottles of water, soap and clean towels all make this up to me a very reasonable priced hotel. Would stay here again.

Stayed a couple of nights during the water festival. Rooms good sized with balcony. Bed sheets changed daily. Towels were old and hadn't been dried properly so were smelly. Reception staff helpful. The restaurant at the front if the hotel was the absolute gem. Delicious food morning and nights. It is called wok & pan and well worth visiting a few times. Just wanted to try everything on their menu. Top marks to all.

Set one block back from the busy Chaweng Beach Rd this hotel enjoys peace and quiet but is only 5 minutes walk from both the beach and the nightlife. Rooms are large with flat screen TV's and a balcony. Swimming pool on site and a small restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

Staff here are lovely and looked after me very well location away from noise but ideal for a five minute walk to the beach and nightlife, staff and security on at all times and wifi was excellent value for money

Horrible place. Very low seevice and quality. More like a very low motel by western standards.
The lady manager will make you pay 1000 baht deposit for thr key.

Location is great close to party center

3rd time staying here and have loved every stay. Stayed this time with my partner & friend in a triple room great size room comfy beds and air con works amazing & is v quiet too. Room equipped with a fridge a tv only downside is the 1 English Channel but not a prob as your out most nights anyway. £17 a night for this place is a bargain rooms cleaned everyday & the pool is fantastic & always quiet & sun beds available almost like it's exclusive for yourself! A bit away from the action so always guaranteed a good nights sleep. Staff always friendly and check in takes no time. Wifi never an issue and always had great connection speed. It's about 10 mins walk from the centre of chaweng where the main bars are or get songtheaw (local taxi) for 50 bhat =£1 if you don't fancy the walk. Also about 10 min walk to the beach. Will certainly be staying again when we go back to Thailand in 2016.

What a great find this was. Excellent value for money, clean, modern rooms, AC, fabulous pool, awesome location away from the noise but close enough to walk to the main street and 10 min to the brand new mall.excellent little restaurant attached with wonderful hosts as was the hotel. Ended up staying 17 days it was that good

Good location, close the "the happening", good value for money, very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were nice with a lovely swimming pool. Clean and tidy, with separate safety deposit box area, locked by hotel
