We booked two non-AC rooms at Manrass Deluxe Lodge for one night — one triple-bed room for three people and one double-bed room for two people. Initially, I was a bit skeptical since it is a lodge with limited reviews, but after calling the reception and speaking to a very polite and helpful staff member, I felt confident enough to proceed with the booking.

We only needed the rooms to rest for the night as we were leaving early the next morning, and the lodge suited our purpose perfectly. The location is a major advantage — very close to Mysore Palace and situated in the market area, which is convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Reaching the lodge took a little extra time due to one-way streets nearby.

On arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us and immediately helped with our luggage, not allowing us to carry even small bags. The check-in process was smooth, and our rooms were arranged quickly.

The rooms were spacious, neat, and well-maintained — comparable to 3-star hotel rooms. The washrooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Basic sanitary items were provided. Tea and coffee were available at an extra cost, and the lift facility made access easy.

The lodge also offers parking, which is very helpful in such a busy area, and they have rooms suitable for different group sizes. The only minor drawback was that hot water was available only from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Zentrumsnah, nettes Personal, 11qm Zi. sind besser etwas geräumiger, Hygiene Artikel waren vorhanden, Kaffee gleich gegenüber, Obstmarkt auch in der Nähe, Palast zu Fuß erreichbar,

Stay is good, can provide few extra facilities in the room.
Pros:

Their location is top notch. Very much in the prime centre of mysore. Also they don't provide provide any breakfast. But we can get few options in the surroundings.

Cons:

They should keep one kettle in the room. And can also provide small 2-3 pouches of coffee or tea. It will helpful to have it in the room itself instead of common kitchen per floor.

Mysore palace is just 1 km walkable distance. City bus depot to get bus to Chamundi Hills and Vrindavan garden is just 2.5 km away.

Cons:

Super Lage für einen kurzen Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und dicht am Busbahnhof und am Palast. Das Zimmer war sauber und es gab Toilettenpapier und warmes Wasser in der Dusche sowie ausreichend Handtücher. Außerdem gab es viele praktische Ablagemöglichkeiten und die Klimaanlage lies sich sehr gut einstellen.

Cons:

Aufgrund der zentralen Lage war es natürlich etwas lauter. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich sauber, die Bettwäsche zeigte aber bereits einige Gebrauchsspuren. Beim Verlassen der Unterkunft viel uns auf, das unser Zimmerschloss nicht funktionierte und unser Zimmer zu jeder Zeit zugänglich war.

Pros:

Hotel très agréable et bien placé au milieu de la ville avec peu de touriste occidentaux pour un séjour 100% indien. l'établissement est moderne avec ascenseur et room-service. Le personnel est très professionnel, agréable et vous aide pour vos visites. La chambre est très propre comme les draps et serviette, le lit très confortable, la salle d'eau est parfaite avec de l'eau bien chaude seulement le matin, l'électricité fonctionne bien ainsi que la tv, il a même tv5 monde sur la chaine 889 (pour les francophones). Je recommande cet hôtel

Cons:

Le soir il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude, de plus n'y avait pas de pression à la pomme de douche, je me suis douché en remplissant la bassine. Il n'y pas de bouilloire dans la chambre mais un thermos vide et des verres, il faut demander au room service un thermos d'eau chaude, ce qu'ils font avec gentillesse et rapidité.

Comfortable stay .... Not VFM though
Pros:

The location is close to the Palace and that's a plus point especially for the evening light show. There are couple of good restaurants nearby and also the market place for fruits, etc.

Overall a simple decent place just for one time though. Definitely not value for money.
