Located near Pilanesberg National Park and Sun City, The Kingdom Resort offers spacious rooms and a wide range of activities at affordable rates. To The Manager The Kingdom Resort
We arrived on Monday 25th August 2025. We checked in after driving from Kruger National Park. After a long drive, we were greeted with fresh juice and popcorn in reception. The check-in process took a couple of minutes, and we were allocated our 2-bedroom villa. The villa had a lovely, spacious main bedroom with a double bed with an ensuite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The second bedroom had two single beds with an en suite bathroom with a bath with a shower over it. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge freezer and dishwasher and has everything you need to prepare a meal for your family. The villa I had booked had a splash pool. When I arrived, the splash pool had a cover over it. When I took it over, there was quite a lot of debris in it. None of my family felt like using it due to this. As we had been travelling, we were looking to do some laundry when I booked. I had checked, and laundry facilities were listed as one of the amenities. I went to reception and was told laundry could be left at reception and it would be returned by 21:00 the next evening so there were no laundry facilities on site this was disappointing. On the first evening, we got the free shuttle into Sun City for dinner, which was really handy. On day 2, we went out for the day and returned in the early afternoon and used the mini golf course, which was really good. The park is conveniently located near to the Pilansberg National Park gates. Grounds are family friendly and offer lots of activities for the kids. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very nice. We wanted to conduct guided night drives into the park but there was no offerings with the resort and staff were unable to direct us as to the best way to book something. We ended up talking directly with the Pilansberg National Park staff directly to book a drive.
Our stay at The Kingdom Resort was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. The resort is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, a relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of space to unwind.
The accommodation was spotless, modern, and very comfortable — everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We especially loved the pool area and the splash zone for kids, which kept the whole family entertained. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the service was always friendly and efficient.
One of the best parts of staying here is the location — just a short drive from Pilanesberg National Park and Sun City. It was the perfect base for both safari adventures and family fun.
Overall, The Kingdom Resort exceeded our expectations. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, a family, or with friends, it’s a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to South Africa!
Very close to Sun City, the villas are still up to standard even now. It was my 2nd stay since pre covid and was glad to see they are maintained.

We stayed in one of the rooms. Was nice enough. While we were sleeping 1 night the picture frame above the bed fell off and hit my two year old child in the face leaving a mark.
I couldn’t call the front desk as they have limited service in the evenings. So I had to leave a message on there website and the response was given to me via checkout that someone would be there at 10am to check it out when we were checking out and leaving!
Not very accommodating or caring toward the guest. Especially a child who was hurt in her sleep. I thought it could have been handled better and I didn’t even get a call or response back from anyone in management. Very poor service!!!
Very clean and friendly staff
We had a quick overnight. Our chalet was beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, the shower was amazing! 100% recommend!

TV was not working and additional cost for use of AC was unusual.

Was a lovely stay ... we phoned ahead to book the shuttle , the lovely staff where waiting for us a the gate .. the rooms amazing do comfortable .. shower was amazing ...
It’s very affordable for being close to the national park , dining option I really just one , breakfast is buffet style , if you want something else its a lunch sandwich ; unless you want to go to Sun City or somewhere else .

Spectacular family vacation here. More than what I expected. Kids loved it so much-we almost didn’t make it to Sun City. Extremely well run, in my opinion.
