We ended up booking another hotel. The pool and hot tub were unavailable. But the website said they was open. They wouldn't refund any of of money back either. Will never book here again

100% friendly staff, executive double bed suite was very spacious, great access to Fairfield Marriott hotel.
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and the lemon water in the entrance was always cold.

Cons:

We totally got catfished by the photos on bookings dot com. The photos on bookings looked so fresh and clean. The pool and jacuzzi have been OOS since last summer and you will only find that information out on their direct website and not on 3rd party websites such as bookings and hotels dot com. That was such a big deal to me that I went next door to Fairfield Marriott and booked a small room just to use their facilities and eat their breakfast. Fairfield was far superior in every way and we will book there next year. The staff at Fairfield Marriott told us that Comfort Suites had been bought by Hilton and they are not making any improvements until Hilton takes over. While the rooms and hallways and main areas were decently clean at Comfort Suites, they were very dusty and outdated. A lot of rust around the vents, a ton of nail pops, mattress seems popped/ripped, wall stains, old (but cleaned) stains on carpet and curtains etc… Sounds like nit picking but you’ll have to see these things for yourself. The hallways smelled like a casino with cigarette smoke in the evenings.

Friendly staff, clean rooms- good breakfast
Pros:

Very nice hotel in Marietta, OH. Had a great breakfast and visited with the manager, Marge. Whole staff in this hotel is super nice. My room was clean and I was able to get a workout in the gym. Great experience and hope to comeback in the neat future!

Great place
Pros:

While out on tour with the jokers and jester comedy tour, we always appreciate a swift and easy check-in. The room was very, very clean and well equipped with everything you could want. The location was great as well. Would recommend to any traveler.

Good place to stay and the price is right
Pros:

The room was very spacious and clean. The price is right for the room's size. The location was ideal for our needs, as we were visiting family in Marietta and Parkersburg.

Cons:

The interior is getting very worn. We have stayed here every year for the past 4 or so years, and it appears to be wearing down. The pool and spa were closed. The breakfast variety was minimal compared to years past - no sausage, no bacon, no eggs - the service personnel said they were waiting on the truck.

Pros:

The convenience of being close to the front office on the 1st floor. The staff was nice considering the card issues they were having for the room keys

Cons:

The room key card reader was not working. It would not let us in our rooms no many how many keys they made and tried. I know it was hard for the employees as well to have to keep unlocking doors for everyone to get back in their rooms.

We were totally happy with Comfort Suites. Full package at this hotel.
Pros:

I pais $20 more for this room than my partner paid for a room in SC. Y the night beware. Comfort Suites was excellet quality where the Super 8 was a total disgusting dump. How were they even close in price?

Cons:

We should have went with Comfort Suites in SC too.
