The room was very clean, check in was quick. enjoyable stay would stay again. Location was brilliant just what i needed would recommend
Clean room and very comfortable bed.
Room and facilities were very good. Only disappointment was breakfast and that cappuccinos are not included. At the price of a room, it was a surprise

No soundproofing, listening to neighbors snire all night
Excellent price, beautiful location, facilities very clean and well equipped bathroom. Would’ve been nice to have a double mattress instead of two single beds, but it worked well anyway. Excellent stay, no complaints
Clean and spacious, clubhouse dining good
I returned to the hotel as it's convenient for Basingstoke and in a nice setting.
The beds are comfortable and they have different pillows to suit your needs.
The hotel was generally clean although the shower could use a deeper clean around the edges.
Great
A short drive from Basingstoke into the countryside, it was a nice quiet night at the Sandford Springs Hotel.
Might go back and try the golf some day.
Great apart from had to wait till I’d finished breakfast for hash brown and black pudding.
I have been here a few times and it has always been a lovely stay
Great hotel, super friendly staff and beautiful rooms. I will be back
Nice quiet location, good restaurant easy parking. Good size room.
Great location with lovely rooms. The food was great
The hotel and staff were very friendly and the rooms especially the beds were very comfortable.
Excellent breakfast
The only issue was problem was they don’t seem to have a fully functional bar although drinks were available.
Absolutely Perfect
I’ve been working in the area for a couple of months now with a need to overnight one or two days a week - I was beginning to give up on finding a quiet comfortable hotel offering facilities at a reasonable price when a colleague recommended the Stanford hotel. I had a great night sleep the food was reasonable and well priced and the staff very accommodating. It cost a little more but was worth the extra to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go.
Food expensive and dissappointing.
Checking in was quick and easy. Condition of room was good. I would have stated excellent but for inadequate lighting, no desk light, and no light above the wardrobe mirror door. The condition of shower sealant was black in a few places. We had to walk to the club house in the evening in the dark. The Street lights leading up to the clubhouse were inadequate as you couldn't see the path you had to walk on. Easy to trip up just before the entrance of the club house.
