Studio 6-Pleasanton, TX

The first room we were given had a broken toilet seat and a mildew stain encircling the toilet. There was mold - furry mold visibly growing on every kind of nasty stain in that room. We told the staff on duty and he did give us another key to the room next door. I checked the toilet, no problems there so we went to visit family as the room change had caused us to be late. Upon return, we discovered that there was black mold all over the lamp, the seat of the office chair was ripped up an it to was covered in furry mold.. stains all over the sides of the bed and the freezer was filthy and needed defrosting. It was just the filthiest room I have ever rented. It was too late to do anything about it.. but you should know, in South Texas you cannot close up a dirty room and cut off all air circulation and not expect mold.

Whoever the last tenant was brought some briars in because their were 3 on the floor by headed and I stepped on one of them when I got out of the bed. Might need to vacuum a little more detailed.

The parking could be better and there was lots of mildew in the shower .

Despite considering the eclipse the accommodation was poor value and we would have been just as happy at a cheaper nearby motel. The staff were intent profit ratio so there was a marked reluctance to change our towels each day but they did do so. Lack of attention to details meant missing light bulbs etc.
