Mirage Express Patong Phuket Hotel

This hotel was extremely loud, making it impossible to get a proper night’s rest. Between the noise and the overall condition of the place, sleeping was simply not an option.
The hotel itself is very dated and clearly in need of serious attention and renovation. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the room cleanliness. Upon entering the room, the floor was covered in sand, there was a strong unpleasant smell, the curtain was broken, and the toilet was absolutely disgusting with a deep urine smell that made the bathroom unbearable to use.
To make things worse, there were cockroaches and ants coming from under the sink, which is completely unacceptable by any standard.
I immediately informed reception who seemed genuinely shocked. Also put a complain to Booking.com which tried in all ways to help with no success. The next day, the manager came to apologize. She was polite and tried to offer a solution, but no real alternative was available. The only option suggested was moving to the same room setup, just four floors lower, which did not solve the problem at all. To mention my lack of trust to their cleaning standards.
For my own sanity, I decided to leave and book another hotel at my own expense. I was told that a partial refund was impossible, which is very hard to understand given the condition of the room and the overall experience.
What shocked me the most is how casually this situation seemed to be taken, despite the extremely low standards. I genuinely do not believe anyone should stay here until major improvements are made.

The room are dirty, everything looks bad, nothing like in the pictures. I never write a negative comment about anything to be honest but this place needs a review.

Staff weren’t really helpful when I had issues, air conditioner was not working in my original room, staff brought me to another room but did not want to push the single beds together(I paid for double bed) until I asked repeatedly to do it, and this was 3:30 am in the morning, tried complaining about the issue I had with the manager but she was really helpful. Overall there are other hotels for a cheaper price in patong and better I would stay at

À literie n’était pas super

Rooms are extremely small. Not suitable for families and tourist who travel with baggage. No wardrobe or space to keep bags. We had 3 checkin a and 3 carry on bags and we didn't have space to move in the room. Solo traveller's can consider but not worth the price.

Staff was not cooperative. Didn't provide extra pillow to my son even though we had booking for 3 people.

Dated hotel room, extremely noisy from traffic and people even on the 6th floor.
Overpriced.

We were very disappointed with our stay from the moment we arrived.
We had informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving late, and their page clearly states that the reception is open 24 hours. However, when we arrived, we had to wait a long time in the lobby before someone came to check us in. The night receptionist seemed annoyed for being woken up and greeted us with an unfriendly attitude, which made us feel uncomfortable right from the start.
It’s really unfortunate, as we expected a minimum level of professionalism and courtesy, especially after a long trip. We hope the management will take this feedback seriously and improve their late-night guest service in the future.

Le personnel a la réception est vraiment désagréable je n’ai jamais vu ça de ma vie.
Les chambres étaient toute petites, le lit vraiment pas confortable, le ménage était très mal fait, le balcon tout petit, trop bruyant,bref ne venais surtout pas dans cet hôtel.
