Hotel Restaurant Hohberg

Der telefonische Kontakt vorab war sehr freundlich. Der Check in problemlos.Die Zimmer sind groß. Für eine Übernachtung zum Besuch der Rheinfälle ok.Wenn man genauer hinsah, nicht wirklich überzeugend. Beim Frühstück wurden keine Brötchen nachgelegt. Beim auschecken wurden wir nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Die Duschen waren in den unteren Kanten und Ecken stellenweise mit schwarzem Belag bedeckt. Da sollten die Inhaber mal überprüfen, ob das Schimmel ist. Gern schicke ich Fotos.

Eintscheggen ,stand bei uns um 14:00 stimmte allerdings nicht ,erst um 15:00🤔

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön.

Gute Unterkunft etwas am Rand von Schaffhausen. Es hat jedoch eine Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel.
Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Sehr grosses Zimmer.

Waren leider sehr spät und auch sehr früh weg.

Found long hairs in the sink, there were various food splatter on the walls in the restaurant, there wasn't always a receptionist, and if you rang the bell someone from the kitchen would come to help you but they rarely spoke English.

The view from the halls and the restaurant is to a big empty gravel-filled hangar where some construction is underway.

The walls are paper thin, you can hear conversations, snoring, coughing, TV, etc easily from other rooms.

You don't have access cards to your room, you have a key with a big piece of metal hanging from the key, which feels a bit outdated and clumsy to walk around with in your pocket.

The people who did speak English were very helpful and the people who didn't speak English always found someone who could understand you. They all seemed very kind and the food in the restaurant was pretty good.

Breakfast was pretty good, not a huge breakfast but has all the essentials and very nice people working there.

I would stay there again, but there is room for improvement.

Es war ein gemütlicher Aufenthalt.Das Hotel ist sauber und die Bedienung endgegenkomment.
Guter Aufenthalt für Fahrradfahrer. Ein wenig abgelegen.

Une halte innatendue pour visiter les chutes du Rhin. Une belle surprise sur cet hôtel très pratique même s’il n’est pas placé à un endroit central.

Super location for sightseeing

Bis auf den Blick auf Gewerbehallen und eine sehr laute Veranstaltung in der Nachbarschaft war alles in Ordnung!

Do no judge this hotel on the photos, very Outdated. Hotel is Ok but starting to look a little run down. Rooms are very compact. Staff very friendly but hotel lets it down. If your expecting to see horses, you'll be disappointed, as they have been gone for a number of years now and equipment and school not used for a long time. Food at the hotel is also very expensive even for Switzerland standards, so would recommend eating out. Parking is also limited at the hotel and on a first come basis.
