The hotel is good value for money, located on the main road about 15 mins away from the beach. The room was spacious with a balcony. The staff were friendly and we could also leave our bags at reception after check out. There is free hot water in the lobby for tea and coffee (included) or instant noodles, etc which can be bought from the many convenience stores around. Bottled water was also provided free of charge in the room every day.
The downside was having a room facing the main road which can be very noisy and we could hear the local mosque at 5:30 am every day. Another downside of the hotel being on the main road was the street smell could be felt with the morning cup of tea while sitting in the lobby. To avoid the smell of sewage it is better to stay in one of the hotels off the main road. Our safe and aircon remote were also not working. The reception staff promptly changed the batteries; however the safe was still not fixed (or replaced) by the time we were checking out. On one of the days we could not find the towels in our room, so had to ask at reception. The staff immediately gave us some and it was not a huge problem, but rather an annoyance of having to go and ask for things which should already be in the room.
Overall a good place to stay if travelling on a budget and not needing too many facilities.

Dette er utvilsomt det mest skitne og utrivelige stedet jeg har bodd på i Thailand så langt. Jeg har nå backpacket her i snart 2 måneder, så det sier litt. Spesielt vil jeg trekke frem det faktum at håndkledet jeg fikk var fullt av gamle blodflekker. Og da mener jeg ikke bare en eller to småflekker - den ene siden var nesten helt dekket av det!

Og det mest interessante med historien oppstod da jeg tok med håndkledet til resepsjonen for å bytte. Damen bak skranken kikket på håndkledet, ringte vaskeriet og deretter ba meg betale for å ha ødelagt håndkledet deres. Jeg fortalte vennlig at håndkledet var slik da jeg ankom rommet, men da ble hun sint og langet ut en rekke rasistiske meldinger.

I tillegg til blod på håndkledet, kan jeg nevne at putetrekkene ikke var vasket, lakenet luktet gammel urin og det var mugg i taket og på badet.

Jeg anbefaler alle å holde seg langt unna denne plassen, men om du likevel tar sjansen - lykke til.

The hotel is very basic. Has no lift, no maintenance, pretty noisy and staff speaks a very essential English. The mosque is nearby and you will get awaken every morning at 5Am by the prayer. The breakfast is the same every morning so that after few days you end up skipping it. Overall expectations were not satisfied completely. Good for max a couple of nights.

Stayed three nights in triple room beds excellent quality and room very comfortable. Okay for light travellers as not much room for clothes e.t.c.

Vi var endast där 2 dagar! Rummet var stort, ganska slitet samt mycket myror på väggarna.. Duschdraperiet ramla ner hela tiden, vilket hotellpersonalen skulle ordna men gjorde ej. Samt var balkongen tråkig mot träd och massa kryp. Däremot är det väll helt okej för det priset som vi bokade det för. Bra läge om man vill shoppa!

The hotel was very nice, clean an the room was big. It is a little far from the center but still walking distance and with lots of things around. The staff was very nice and helpful although their English was not very good, as the average in Thailand. One day we didn't have hot water but not problems the rest of the days. It looks as in the pictures.

Excellent hotel right on the main road to the beach in Ao Nang. The room was quite spacious and quite comfortable. Nice to have air conditioning and a bar fridge with bottled water each day. The front desk receptionist was very nice and offered up good options for good places to eat. The hotel lacks an elevator so the climb with luggage to the 4th floor on a hot day seemed a long way. Being on the top floor I felt I was away from the street noise but this may be an issue on the lower floors. The room safe did not work for me. I felt like this hotel was one of the best valued rooms of my stay and definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place not too far from the action and at a reasonable price.

Fyra dagars vistelse hos trevlig personal i stora och fräscha rum! Ok läge vid huvudgatan men en bit från stranden, dock lätt att få fatt på en mopedtaxi. Rekommenderas!!

We booked into this hotel for 2 persons from 12-28 January 2015. . The room had an excellent , just for us, a young couple who pleasantly spent time in their 2 honeymoon . Price per night in the hotel and the whole stay was very valuable for us . Somehow we estimate price for a very good score .

总体还可以，一般的经济酒店，但是价格有点高，性价比比低，好像甲米的酒店都比较贵，比普吉岛和曼谷高不少

The rooms were clean and spacious. Cleaned each day plus free bottled water. Location is good with a 7/11 a few minutes walk and the beach around 10-15 minutes walk.
Unfortunately I got sick during my staff and the staff took great care of me. I was traveling on my own and they made such a difference. I am really grateful and would definitely stay here again!

Great service, the staff are really helpful and friendly. Good sized rooms and beds. Some of our lights didn't work and they got someone in right away to fix them, they also let us check-in early as the room was already ready. The hotel is a solid 15 minutes from the beach, but on the way are good food stalls that sell good food at a much better price compared to the places nearer the beach.

Would definitely recommend if you don't mind the walk!

Budget hotel, nice staffs and large room with King size bed.

It was a pleasant stay at Pranang Flora House. Very clean and good service. Only problem I had was .speed was too slow.

We stayed in two hotels while in Ao Nang - Pranang Flora House and J Mansion. We started in Pranang Flora House for two nights and wanted to extend our stay an additional three nights, but it was booked, so we had to switch. J Mansion is closer to the beach, but Pranang's room was much better and the shower was in a separated space so that the whole bathroom didn't get wet when showering (common in Thailand). We didn't mind the walk to the Pranang Flora House hotel from the beach and the fact that it was away from the beach a bit meant there were a lot more restaurants that were affordable and authentic. AC was great. Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean. Bathroom was nice. The wifi in our room worked, but wasn't great. J Mansion's wifi was much better. Overall a great stay.

Large room, clean bathroom and away from the main strip so it's quiet at night. All you could want for the price.

Wonderful stay, well recommended place. worth a trip.
