I enjoyed the informal friendly atmosphere and I loved the town of Wareham
Pros:

The staff were very pleasant and friendly, the food was good quality and enjoyable. The Bear was situated in Wareham which is a lovely historic town within easy reach of visitor attractions.I would not hesitate to recommend Wareham and the Bear.

Cons:

My husband found the noise of the extractor fan at night when the window was open slightly annoying

Loved my stay.
Pros:

The Bar and Restaurant are lovely to sit and relaxt for dinner in the Bar and the restaurant for breakfast, especially if you can get to sit outside in the sunshine.
The food is excellent and the staff were lovely and welcoming.

Cons:

I was disappointned my room didn't have a mini fridge, especially due to the nightly cost we pay. I brought my own specialist milk which I wasn't able to keep cold for my cups of tea within the room. I also couldn't chill the bottle of water provided and it was a hot day.

The hall ways do look tired.

In spite of the super tiny rooms if we’re ever down this way we’d stay here again!
Pros:

Small, quaint, very welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in the morning and our entire stay was fantastic!

Cons:

Rooms are super cozy and there really isn’t much room to really unpack your luggage so you’re essentially living out of your luggage!

Gemütliches, gut ausgestattetes Hotel mit bärigem Sympathiefaktor
Pros:

Cons:

Die Happy Hour für Cocktails endete schon um 18 Uhr.

Pros:

Lovely quaint place. Decent sized rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of yoghurt, fruit, juice, cereal and good freshly cooked breakfast choice. Dinner in the evening was excellent. Great Margarita - better when it's Happy Hour !!

Cons:

Parking is a nightmare. Maximum 4 hours in the local car parks which I don't get so if you want to go out for the day you either drive or you are stuffed because you have to move your car although I didn't see anyone checking but didn't want to chance it ! The flush on the toilet in Yogi is really noisy ! Too many dogs for my liking and they are allowed in for breakfast and in the restaurant. It should be one or the other. Rooms are dog friendly too which I didn't like

Great location and food excellent
Pros:

Location was great, breakfast was very good. The hotel was very quiet

Cons:

Our room was on the small side, not a very nice view from the window just over adjacent roofs and the television was very small I had to go very close to read the tv guide and that was while wearing my glasses.

Great location for a night or two
Pros:

The character and location of the property are excellent. The staff are very friendly.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our room was on the top floor which was quite a struggle. I think it was the only dog friendly room though. It’s a comfortable room with a good bathroom.

Enjoyable. Thank you to all young staff members. They were welcoming and attentive.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good . Location spot on . Lack of hotel parking wasn’t a problem for me due to out of season visit , I was able to park in the street. Bedroom was small with little space to move between bed and dresser unit . Bathroom was large, shower was very good . All were spotlessly clean. Would opt for a larger room if I were to revisit but as it was I paid £160 , this included breakfast. The bedroom was smartly decorated.

Cons:

Limited bedroom space. Despite being a hotel there wasn’t quiet space/ room available for guests to sit to read a book newspaper. My bedroom wasn’t an option due to lack of space.
