Love Santa Marinella due to this ps the sea is a beautiful bonus
This hotel is the perfect place to recharge prior to the flight home from Rome's FCO airport. We stayed here years ago for one night prior to our flight. In 2026, we made it two nights. Next time we will stay three nights to have two full days of relaxation by the sea. The hotel's small private beach club is wonderful. (Use their beach, not the public beach.). The views from our corner room were amazing.

The service at their Bianca restaurant (dinner) was a disappointment. I will write a separate review on that.
Charming hotel in a beautiful location between Civitavecchia (cruise port) and the airport. Very clean, good food, kind and helpful staff!
While staying in Rome we came out to Santa Marinella for a night because of a wedding at the Castello Odescalchi. The VdP looked like the best local option. Our corner room on the top floor was very pleasant. The view, the interior decor, the roomy bathroom--they were all good. We were happily surprised to find dispensers for Ortigia shampoo, body lotion, etc in the bathroom, esp. in what is only a 3-star hotel. But then we were disappointed to find that the dispensers had been refilled with lotion, shampoo etc that did the job but were not nearly as nice. We had only one lunch in the restaurant, which was overpriced but ok. One would not come to Sta Marinella for the swimming but the sun beds are pleasant and towels are provided.
Great location at the seaside of Santa Marinella. Very good food and service.
3-star graded today, but could easily apply for and get a fourth star.

Villa Della Palme was an excellent last day for us in Italy. We had a nice room with a beautiful view over the Mediterranean. The hotel is clean and has a great seafood restaurant. The grounds are well kept and there is a great lounge terrace at the seaside. The hotel is definitively a pearl in Santa Marinella.

Well positioned hotel outside of Rome. Shuttle from the airport and the next day a Shuttle to the cruise terminal. Room was very clean with a beautiful view of the sea. All the staff spoke fluent English. They had a restaurant that served excellent food. we chose this hotel because we had been to Rome many times and preferred to go directly onto our cruise.
