Excellent Stay with Superb Convenience!
Pros:

I recently stayed at Minh Chau Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and was thoroughly impressed! The hotel offers great value for money with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff who made my stay enjoyable.

One of the biggest advantages is its prime location—just a short distance from Saigon Railway Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers catching a train. Additionally, it’s easily accessible from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which was a huge plus for me as I arrived late at night.

The surrounding area has plenty of local eateries, shops, and attractions, so you’re never far from the action. Despite being in a lively area, the hotel itself was quiet and relaxing.

I highly recommend Minh Chau Hotel for both business and leisure travelers looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in Ho Chi Minh City. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

Pros:

Room was very clean. Shampoo, body wash and toothbrush provided. A bath mat and Hand towel would have been useful. Bottle water is available for purchase at reception I believe. Tv, fridge, aircon amc fan. Has an elevator. Hotel arranged for motorbike rental 150k a day delivered and picked up from Hotel. Parking is inside the hotel gates.

Totally satisfactory. I am fastidious about cleanliness and I was satisfied with the room, which was very clean. No unusual odors or any other red flags. A/C was strong. The staff was very servicial and friendly . Upstairs on the fourth floor they have a breakfast area where they can make American style breakfast (fried eggs and coffee). And they can book a taxi or Uber-type car service to take you to the airport or wherever. Definitely would stay here again.

Nice location, excellent staff, disappointing room
Pros:

Staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't rate them higher!!!!!
Bed and pillows uncomfortable, glass door only to bathroom meaning little toilet privacy.
Rooftop restaurant very pretty but mostly abandoned and the one time we ate there the food was terrible. Also the restaurant is only open 9am to 5pm which was inconvenient (not that I'd eat there again).
Overall OK. Staff very helpful though.

Pros:

Stayed 2 days.
Clean, peaceful, have rotating shift staff that speaks English, Mandarin and Vietnamese.
Slightly far from city but just a few minutes with Grab service.
Interesting antique TV that still works perfectly.

We had a pleasant stay at this family run hotel.
Pros:

The service was very friendly.

It is located about 15 minutes (by taxi) out of the main tourist area which is what we wanted.
We enjoyed our experience here as it was more typically Vietnamese than the general tourist experience of other districts. If this is what you also want to try then this may also be the hotel for you.

I think it is true to it's star rating - some rooms could do with a coat of paint!

Most restaurants/eateries are Vietnamese, however, there is a restaurant set in a garden atmosphere very close by (called Sorentos, I think). Here you can get a beer and a mix of Western & Vietnamese food. The eating areas are both outside and indoors (AC).

Nice Hotel in Local District
Pros:

This hotel was a nice place to stay. Although it’s a little far from where all of the action is (District 1), it is still a very cute hotel in the middle of the local district where you can see authentic Vietnamese culture. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean!
